Brett: I got this to seal a gap between my driveway and curb. It leveled perfectly and dried to the gray color described. It’s very runny, but needs to be for self leveling, and quite messy. Take your time and have a plan to handle any messes and it’ll work great.

Rob B: I had a gap of about an inch between my concrete garage pad and the concrete driveway. I purchased a couple bags of 3/4 inch backer rod and after vacuuming out the gap I stuffed in the backer rod so it left about a 1 inch space to the top. I filled the remaining space with this Sika Self Levelling Sealant and it worked a lot better than expected but as advertised. It remains a bit flexible which is great for the temperature fluctuations here in Alberta. Excellent bonding to concrete and I would definitely recommend this product as it is worth every penny I spent.

DIY: Wish I had Sikaflex when cement driveway was first laid & cured. Would have fill expansion joints then!! What I learned: I marked 1 side of wedge with X & light coated X side with petroleum jelly to prevent Sika from sticking then installed on ends to prevent it from leaking out. I have real big gaps destroyed by expansion of freezing snow/water. Will have to be removed! But in the meantime, I caulked Sika along top of the canyon & waited so it would run down into valley. Did touch up! I did use my finger in places to smooth out & fill spots for looks. Used edge of cement to rub off and cut paper towels 1/2 sheets into 1/4ths to wipe nozzle & fingers. Bought throw away brushes with metal handles used for soldiering. Used to brush down into the huge Valleys so I didn't use so much Sikaflex. Used 1 brush for Sika takes a while to form skin. Rest brush in the shade between uses. Sikaflex sticks well to cement & some time fingered it in place. Highly recommend!! 1 complaint: after 1 week of curing if you walk on it or drive tire over it that area would be dark. Wonder if the black would be better. There were complains the black flakes!

Amazon Customer: This is a good product but even in constantly sunny, extremely low humidity environments takes 6-10 hours for the surface to become semi-tactile dry. That means with even a slight breeze petals, leaves, grass cuttings blow onto and embed into the surface. It is a shame it looks so bad. There is no doubt that it provides a water-tight seal but the appearance is lacking.
Also, since the 29oz tube was considerably cheaper I bought several of them and a caulk gun of that size. I am a 70 year old women and after half a tube my hands developed severe cramping and clonus from the muscle strain. No problem for the big strong guys but handi-ladies need to stick with the standard size tubes.
