Climate change will probably make things worse. This product was easy to use and the most important thing is that the seepage points are gone and so are the puddles. I'm happy.

Rodrick: No VOC's and odor is not that bad when working in tight spaces. You can also clean hands and exposed limbs with warn soap and rough scrubbing

Glen A Monett: I have been using this product for 2 years now. My company uses it in showers where a plumber's panliner won't work. I apply the rubber sealant in five different coats using a paint brush. On the vertical and horizontal joints I use the sealant tape that is recommended for this product. I install a wet as I am applying my second coat. Yes this product can be messy but with that said you must wear gloves and old clothes. If you need to clean any of this product off of your skin that can be accomplished with WD-40 and a clean rag.

John Rogers: Worked well. Was a lot thinner/runnier than expected. Easy to apply. Not too smelly. Took a long time to dry though. That's why it's 4 stars not 5. Highly recommended so far, but time will tell if lasts.

Amazon Customer: Easy to apply, it has consistency of yogurt, so it goes on a vertical surface such as a basement wall no issues at all. I applied three coats over top of 40 year old damp proofing, no problem. Sticks to anything really well. NOT a tar based product, dried much faster than tar and I did not find the odor particularly strong. Barely tacky within a few hours, I let it try a few days because I was applying rigid foam over top of the liquid rubber, on the exterior of a foundation wall. But you could probably get away with applying rigid foam over top after 24 hours, if that's your application.
As a test, I applied some liquid rubber directly to some scrap expanded polystyrene and it did not seem to react. But I would still avoid contact with non cured product just be be safe.

Amazon Customer: Used product for outside basement wall. the previous owners put in poured cement patio and a 3/4" gap to the foundation wall which was taken up by a barrier foam. we had inherited some water in the basement from the past and wanted to have a better seal around the house and felt the gap was causing the water to get to our basement. We cleaned the area to be rubberized and put 2-3 coats of the product on the wall , foam, and foundation which was above the poured outside concrete floor. After doing this tedious job, I have to see if there is results to helping the water from getting to the basement, time will tell. What I can say is, it is durable, use gloves and have coconut oil handy if you get product on your skin to remove. It does seam like it is a Good product, and is rubberized to shrink or contract if there is changes to is substrate materials its painted to. Product is not cheap, but for my requirements it was worth it, time will tell.

JayDubya: I used the material to seal a wood project against water intrusion. I am still hopeful that it will accomplish that goal, but application was a real pain. Wear old clothes and do your level best not to get any of it on them. The rubber does not really clean well with water - soap or not. It turns to a soupy mess. I had to use a lot of water at high pressure to clean the brush, but even then it would not clean. So what I did between coats was to keep the brush in the 1 gallon container of the material that I emptied first. As the project progressed, I would remove the brush from the 1 gallon container and wrap the handle with a paper towel to keep it from sticking to my gloves even though they were brand new.
I used a 4" brush of very high quality to apply the rubber material and brushed it a lot rather than slather it on. That is, for the first coat. I think that making sure that the material was contacting the surface and actually 'wetting' to it was key to producing a membrane. However, when I was finished with the first coat, I had used only one gallon of the material on over 150 sq ft. which is a very thin membrane. The second coating was done in the same way, however,...
