It took a matter of minutes to install and program the user codes, and the lock functioned very smooth. It’s easy to see the numbers considering that they are all in within a confined space (the knob).

Network Native: I have used this style before many times, this one is no different. The manual is very poor with regards to explaining how to program your codes, but once you figure it out, it works fine.

It works reliably in a protected outdoor setting. I'm happy with it, and would buy another one.

Babak Vosooghi: I have had this lock for quite some time.
It is indeed reliable and sturdy.
However, the only issue is that you can't see the digits while standing and need to bend down.
I suggest that the manufacturer address this issue in future versions.

Dan Warner: It was easy to install, and worked well for a while. However, after a month or so it started doing something odd. You would put in the passcode, it would blink, but not open. One would need to reinput the password over and again until it finally decided to open. I bought and installed two of these, and BOTH OF THE UNITS failed in this way. I then went looking for a solution online. There are others who have this experience, but I see no solution for it. So, I recommend against this unit.

Robb S Felker: For adults or infrequently opened doors that you don't want to drill another hole in this knob is fine, but since the design only stays unlocked for 5 seconds each time in order to make the batteries last it wasn't ideal for the main entry. Initially this was intended for a front door so kids didn't have keys to lose. I thought it would be like a power-deadbolt where once you enter the code it is unlocked until you lock it again. In fact pushing buttons is required each time you want to open the door from the outside. Yes it is possible to enter a key sequence which makes any button open the door until you enter another sequence to return it to full coded entry, but this is too complicated for kids. For our door that is used frequently a better choice was a regular doorknob with a code-entry deadbolt even though it required drilling to install.
This doorknob ended up on the shed where it is perfect.

Kyle: This was purchased as an added layer of security for my home and is used on my bedroom door. It is relatively easy to install but there are a few things to look out for. Getting the wire connected to the battery pack was difficult and it didn't clip in the way I would expect it to. After playing around with it, it seemed like laying it flush against the box and pressing hard was my best option. It still didn't fully clip in. It did work though! It took about 30 minutes for me to install this. The screws that they give you for the strike plate are pretty short as well, so they won't secure it against too much force.

Pros: The knob is sturdy and feels heavy duty in your hand. It feels very nice when you install it. I've had zero issues with it operating properly yet but will update this if I do.

It's a nice value for the money and adds a nice layer of security for the price point.

Cons: Connecting the battery pack to the doorknob was pretty tricky and the instructions didn't explain how they clip together. The picture was not detailed enough to figure it out either. I was afraid that I was going to break it trying to figure out how it went together and jamming...
