Shimano SPD Compatible Bike Pedals with 9/16'' Thread, Toe Clips and SPD Cleats - Perfect for Spinning, Indoor Cycling and Exercise Bikes

KimKim: I've only used these once, but I was actually worried they would not work with my new cycle shoes. They came with the SPD cleats but they were in a recessed area (so that you can walk in the shoes) and I could not tell if the toe clips would actually fit in the small space. I recommend adding a side picture where you can see what it looks like - other sellers have done that. I even had two on order (I don't have prime) just in case they didn't work, so was happy it worked out on the first try and could cancel that order. Then before going through the hassle of putting them on the bike and then trying the shoes, with much difficulty I put the shoes on the pedals before I installed them to make sure they fit. They did but we couldn't get one of them off so there I was installing it with the shoe attached! Also, I am happy that I had the special tool to change it out because the kit did not come with nor did it come with the Allen wrench needed to adjust the toe clips...and we have so many of them but not one fit it which was frustrating. So hopefully they don't loosen up too much. Once I had the pedals on the bike I could release the shoe and it was relatively easy...

Wisco FamWisco Fam: This is a great substitute for being a hybrid pedal to your bike (or indoor cycle in our case). Easy to exchange and seems solidly built. Has adjustments for peddle tension and solid metal except the plastic rear clip for the look side (no different than the OEM peddle though). Seem like a great replacement for a great price. Easy to clip in and out right out of the box. No adjustments were needed. No rattle and nothing seems loose. Quiet and the bearings seem solid. Overall very impressed.

Ray: Easy to install but the tension adjustment for the SPD cleat was as good as impossible. I even tried removing the pedal and removing the clip cage, but no success. The tension has been set to high and I had difficulty engaging and removing my shoes

MaherIsALoser: Quick and dirty. These are amazing pedals that also work on Nordictrack S22i. This is my second pair of pedals I purchased for Nordictrack bike. The first pair were more expensive and had to be assembled. So confusing a process that I paid a bike shop to assemble for me. Well these babies come assembled already. And did I mention they work on Nordictrack for my fellow non-peletonis. Additionally the base for both clips and regular shoes is wide and comfortable. They nailed it with these pedals!

Amazon Customer: I wanted to write this review, because I was confused reading the reviews when I purchased as to whether these pedals would work correctly as a replacement on my Peloton with my Giro SPD clip shoes (which I already had). It looks like most reviews where the shoes got stuck were when buyers used the clips provided with these pedals. I did NOT use these clips, since I already had my shoes with proper SPD clips. The end result was close to perfect - my shoes easily clip in and out of my new pedals, while also feeling secure when riding. The only issue I had was getting the right pedal on, it just didn't want to catch the groove so it took a few deep breaths, and eventually it caught. For Peloton bikes the left pedal goes counter to a normal screw - it's the opposite of righty tighty, lefty loosy. My bike had a label stating this probably due to the amount of complaints as seen in previous comments about this aspect.

My only other comment on these pedals is for the price, the fact that they come just shrink wrapped in plastic is a little cheap, would feel like you're getting what you pay for if they actually came in a box. But this didn't affect the way they...

Allan Hodder: Arrived on time, the pedals look to be good quality and fit the star trac spinner bikes they were installed on with no trouble.
They came with the cleats to put on the shoes which was good. They take a good push to click in and a fairly strong twist to unclip, even with the spring tension adjustment backed off as much as possible. They could use a slightly softer spring but I do like that these feel tight once clipped in. The old pedals were sloppy and this fixed the issue. Overall I’m happy
