A. Hardin: I thought all Shea butter was created equal but that's not the case. I purchased shea butter in the past from other vendors, and it was hard and not as moisturizing. This Shea butter is the best I've had. Very moisturizing and soft. Work well on my skin and hair.

maggies mom: I have tried several different shea butter brands and for me this my go to for my natural 4C hair and skin. I have used it melted, whipped or straight from the container. It melts easy and absorbs easy and does not leave my skin or hair feeling heavy or greasy. It has a nice, light scent and doesn't have any weird, strong smell like others I have tried. It is of very good quality and good price. Unless one of those factors change, I will continue buy and recommend to others.

ThorneThorne: It arrived in a nicely sealed container, bigger than I expected even with the butter being quite dense. The butter alone had a bit of a grassy smell but that's my only complaint. I used this to make lotion candles (I used a 1:1 ratio of Shea butter and soy wax with skin safe fragrance). It burned nicely, kept a low wax temperature, and was moisturizing when rubbed into the skin. Both the candles and the pure butter leaves a bit of an oil sheen on your skin that feels protective and moisturizing but tacky to the touch until completely dry.* I would definitely recommend this to someone with dry skin but may caution it's use if you have sensory sensitivities due to the above reason.* An excellent buy for crafters!

ChantelleChantelle: Finally emptied my last container and bought this one. Product is good quality but container is cracked so just trying to keep it from melting until I find a replacement container. Would buy again & just keep a backup container just in case.

Hay temporadas donde mi piel se reseca mucho y me lo pongo haciendo una mezcla con aceite puro de uva (lo compre también En Amazon) y me dura la piel súper bien una semana súper nutrida (obvio bañandome diario), aparte será duradero porque es bastante

Lud GroLud Gro: El paquete llegó un dia antes de lo planeado, tiene un olor peculiar algo fuerte pero no me molesta, esta en un recipiente de plastico por lo que llego algo roto pero no causó problemas. Cuando lo use pongo mi actualizacion.

A BeutA Beut: UPDATE: After speaking with SmellGood, we have concluded that the shea butter I received is indeed genuine SmellGood brand. Also, please be aware that they fill 32 oz jar with shea butter, and so you will get less than 32 oz shea butter by weight. I got about 28 oz. Kind of annoying but its still a great price. As for the butter, it is easily scraped out of jar and has a good fondant-like texture. After rubbing it with hands it becomes an oil that is easily applied to body. There are tiny stearic acid beads that some might call "gritty" but I just keep rubbing until all the fat is completely melted. The color is vibrant yellow from being root-dyed. CAUTION: It can stain cloth, so please use with care. If super fair, it will also tint your complexion (a plus for me). I find that I use less yellow shea butter goes further than ivory, so I end up using less. It has good lab results with minimal levels of free fatty acids and peroxide, and also acceptable level of unsaponifiable matter (the healing fraction of the butter which contains the vitamins, triterpenes, phenols, and sterols). I have tried many brands and SmellGood and Karitex are the brand I can recommend.

Jakeline: Llegó antes de lo programado, bien empaquetado; el producto viene en envase de plástico muy frágil por lo tanto a pesar de venir bien empaquetado estaba roto, lo cual no causo problema ya que lo vertí en otro contenedor sin problema, su consistencia es como si fuera cera que se derrite con el calor por frotamiento, olor a aceite de ricino, color amarillo; desconozco si sea pura, pero al aplicarla en mi cara literalmente deja una capa mantecosa, use menos producto para tener una mejor sensación en el rostro, pero no me agrado tanto, Si la aplico de noche en cara amanezco y al lavarme, noto que mi piel está más hidratada, no irrita mi piel, pero no reduce la producción de grasa en mi rostro; cabe aclarar que tengo rosácea, así que ahora sólo la aplico cuando tengo picor o irritación, y me calma; sobre todo me sirvió como tratamiento en el cabello, lo aplico abundante por la noche y después de 12 horas al lavarlo está más hidratado y manejable. Es un costo bajo y mucho producto, así que sí lo recomiendo.
