Dan: I have had atomic clocks for probably more than 30 years? ... I like that I can look at the clock and be sure of what month, day, year, time and temperature inside and outside are! Being retired, sometimes I have to check to see just what day it is! I have one of these clocks in every room in the house! It's just nice to be able to look up and know what time/day it is ... and the temperature ... I use it a lot to decide which jacket/coat/scarf/hat to wear.

Tek2000: really nice clock if only it didn't reset itself every few months. sadly, it never actually uses the "atomic time" to set the time or time zone or date so you have to do everything again manually and the buttons are marked in black on black on the back but you have to look at the front while pressing them. the 12/24 is not all that intuitive, either. you basically have to guess. i suppose that one or two more resets and i will have it memorized. the last one I had lasted about 20 years and was a real sharper image but the outside remote finally gave up the ghost so I got this to replace it. It never reset itself but was also difficult to set when I had to replace the batteries.

otoh, the extra large numerals and beautiful minimalism of the clock design make it worth the extra effort. a plus would have been a little bit of an adjustable glow on the dial (there is none now) would have been a big plus.

Happy CamperHappy Camper: Update 7/8/2023: I received a new clock from different manufacture, took old clock off the wall a left leaning against the wall, placed new one on the wall, the next day both clocks were synced to the correct time. Sharp clock is still keeping correct time. Solution: if your Sharp is not keeping time place it near another Atomic clock for a day or two to see if that powers the Atomic sensor again.

Photo was taken at 6:43 am on Thursday, 615, so you can see the clock is not accurate. This was after doing a reset.
My original clock was purchased & received September 2022. It broke April 15th. After emailing with manufacturer they sent me a new clock & I received it May 11, 2023. It broke on June 15, 2023.
Manufacturer said they cannot refund me, only Amazon can. Amazon says no because over 30 days & it has been replaced already.
So I purchased another clock from a different manufacturer. Don’t through your money away on this clock!
