GINTER: Perfect for the bedroom or bathroom (bought two). Emits a very faint light (almost a foggy effect), just enough to see in the dark without being obnoxious and without blurring the numbers. If you have super human hearing, you may notice a rapid flicker (fast tick) from the motor assembly. Very, very faint. Must gave dog / bat (vampire?) hearing to notice, or hold up close to the ear. Overall, love it. Both of them. Recommended.

Gongusia: I like that it glows in the dark to see the time at night. Lower set up is enough to see the time well, and the one with more background light is too much for me.
Their description says that the hands glow in the dark, but there is no switch to actually make it happen. They don't glow. This was disappointing to me, because the hands are not as visible in the dark as they should be.
On the picture it looks nice and delicate, but in reality it is pretty sturdy looking like one you would see somewhere in an office, or something like that. It is not as "homey" as it looks on the picture, but I decided to keep it.

Alisa D.: I needed a clock in the bathroom so I could keep an eye on the time wo always clicking on my iPhone to see what time is when getting ready to go anywhere. Well … the first night I hung it was a Monday night. “So what?” you say? Well this is a work night. My husband needed to use the restroom in “the middle of the night”. The bathroom’s always had a nightlight but since the clock is so bright, he was able to look and tell what time it was and he realized he only had one hour left to sleep!! He did NOT want to know that bc then he couldn’t fall back asleep. Doesn’t bother me at all, but now he keeps his head down if using restroom at “night” - even if it’s 5am!

NOTE: the clock is not overly bright, it’s a medium bright teal colored light, but definitely do not need both the clock AND a nightlight. ;-)

Camisty: I bought this so I could see the time visually early in the morning/when I'm waking up because I have a really difficult time with time blindness, but I also have some literal blindness so I bought this one also because of its size. It's big enough to read across the room, even though I can barely, sometimes not at all, see the secondhand (me problem, not a clock problem). I have the backlight setting on high and the brightness doesn't make it hard to sleep at all. The light sensor only turns it on when its ACTUALLY dark, <3 so at one point I was trying to figure out if it was on when setting it up because I could see the light leak on the back when it was upside down, then when I flipped it over it was off! 10/10 sensor.
It's SILENT. I could hear nothing. Nothing at all.
So far I haven't noticed any deviations in the time from when I set it. It IS difficult to set exactly because there's no way to adjust the secondhand once the battery is in, and boy! was the battery hard to get in. I just let it be 15 seconds off. It's not like I'm going to see the difference anyway, lol. If you want the secondhand to be perfectly accurate, make sure you're setting the clock all the way...

David Tohl: Thank you, friends for making this cleverly designed clock. Unlike many other such "glow-in-the-dark" clocks, this one has a light sensitive detector, that turns the illumination on automatically the instant the room lights are switched off ... and no dimming or vanishing of the clock-face light after 3 or 4 hours. It works perfectly. The delivery was very prompt and as promised.

Lu Zhao: It works well but there is no light sensor，it is just a dim light which can always be on，just not obvious when it is in daytime，because the outside environment is too bright. I don't understand why the seller says there is a light sensor and so many buyer believe that.
