Dan Rooney: I love that there are so many compartments in this bag. I just wish it had a little more volume though. It's a tight fit when you have everything packed in there on a day hike. It is made from quality material and you can't beat the pricing on it.

Keith T.: Like a lot of others, I took this to a music festival. I used it outdoors for 4 days straight. It was fairly comfortable to wear if the chest strap was on and kept my water from boiling while being outside. The only real downside was that it did have that odd, vinyl taste that most people are mentioning, but it wasn't overpowering and you kind of get used to it after awhile.

Scott McCoy: It was a nice enough pack, would be great for short day hikes. I did return it as it was too narrow in the shoulders and didn't sit right for me. For an average size person (large shirt size) it would probably fit well.

Jesse: I’m not a fan of the logo but the pocket sizes are perfect for light hiking gear all while holding a sufficient amount of water. My main reason for this purchase wa the lack of hip huggers. I find it a little annoying sometimes to have to use hip huggers. I have my other running bag with hip huggers for that type of hiking that requires a bit more support with heavier loads. The material is great and physically tough. The zippers seems a bit chintzy but it actually works great after a few uses and I always wax the zippers of my outdoor gear for a little extra water resistance and the wax make the zipper work so much smoother. The slot for the bladder looks nice with reflective material all around the bladder and a zipper to keep objects from entering the bladder section of the bag. I wrapped a small towel around the bladder to keep it a little cooler. The bottom of the bag leaked water from a small leak when I slightly overfilled the bladder while it was in the bag. Not a big deal if you like ice cold water dripping down your crack! Oh yeah! But the bag isn’t water tight at all. So keep that into consideration when your looking for a water proof bag. Charlie: My Granddaughters like to go for long bike rides. Usually they would take frozen bottles of water. A few large ice cubes and water in these packs and they are good for the afternoon. They can even but snacks in the backpack. They both love them.

Will D.: Took this out on a 4 day camping trip, and it was great. I was using it at my only source of water, and as my day pack. Even when full of water (a hefty 2.5 litres of it) it still has enough room for the essential survival gear that I'd want to take with me, and a tiny bit of food too. The bladder seems sturdy, and can be strapped to the top of the bag to prevent it from slipping. The insulation seems to have done its job well, as the water from the bladder was consistently cooler than the water in the tube, and the water in the insulated part of the tube was cooler than the uninsulated part. Note that I cut the tube for mine to add in a filter attachment. Normally the entire tube is insulated. The bit piece works well, as does the cover, although I'm worried that the cover will break off in time. If it does I'll update this review. Refilling the bladder isn't terribly easy as you'd have to hold a filter up to it. Some filters can connect directly to it, but most won't. I was able to work around this by filling it via the tube, but for that you'd need a filter set up like I have.
