This attachment is WONDERFUL on stairs, but not as effective for my couch. I have an upholstered couch and the cat hair tends to stick on/in the material well. The brush does suction and rustle up some of the hair, but a majority of it is unmoved. I was hoping the brush would be more aggressive with it, but I guess I will continue my search. Overall, it is a good attachment that I will be keeping and using on the stairs and for car cleaning.

Was finding it difficult to get my cats fur off the furniture and rugs with my main Shark. The new head is easy to use and the hoover has a detachable feature so you don't have to carry the whole hoover around. I was intending on purchasing a hand held hoover but I am glad that I just got the attachment.
