Michael: So far I am satisfied with the wrist blood pressure measuring device. I initially continued to manually take my mother's blood pressure and compared to the wrist blood pressure measruing device. I found it to be consistantly similiar in the readings. Additionally, my mother has a small wrist and the velcro band fits her very well, as it also fits my husband that has a large wrist.

Garth: Wanted something easy and quick to use and easy to read. This fit the bill and I liked it so much I ordered one for my son as well.
Pros:
Small
Easy to read
I like it stores lots of readings to give a history

Cons:
A bit slower than my old arm band type
Not accurate unless you get the positioning right
What I did was take the unit down to my pharmacy and sit beside the blood pressure machine there. I tried several positions for how high to raise my hand and how tight to put the cuff on. Took me maybe 4-5 tries and found something I got repeatable good results that compared well to the drug store store machine. Since then I've found the simplicity of it means I take my readings more often and don't need glasses or anything to read the large display. I can literally fit it in my pocket and review readings with my doctor next time I visit him (and will double check it's accuracy too).
Really this is a big win and much easier to use than the old arm cuff that was challenging to use 1 handed

Jen Ball: Pay close attention to the instructions for doing the readings. Also be cautious to not over tighten the band before the reading. This caused me to get several false high readings.
