DrewDrew: At first, I was hesitant about using this style of strap but the thought of not having to crawl around on the trailer to hook up straps to the axles was too enticing. After the first trip I was sold, they don't loosen constantly like my old straps and getting them setup is a breeze.

will_famwill_fam: I've been looking at these tie downs for a while, but was having a hard time justifying $130 for them. I finally pulled the trigger and recently used them on a 250 mile trip hauling my side by side. I installed them per the Vulcan video and was off.
The trip was pretty uneventful - 2 lane roads that are in decent shape overall. I drove through some rain, some sun, and my side by side stayed securely in place. I was pretty happy with them at this point.
However, once I arrived and removed the tie downs, I was pretty annoyed. All four had some level of wear in the straps near the ratchet, leaving me to question their integrity. All four of my "High-Viz Green" straps had bled the color in spots, leaving a faded green/almost white.
Overall, I'm really disappointed in these straps. One easy trip and look like they've been in service for years. The 2" straps I get on sale at the local farm store for $10 hold up much better than these. I'll keep looking...

Randy H Lamb: Works perfectly, with a couple of modifications to the chain...had to change the hooks to a larger mouth to attach to the size of eye bolts I am using and shorten the chain due to the short distance from the tires and eye bolts. That was only done because I'm securing my vehicle on the inside of an enclosed car hauler trailer.
Great quality and now works perfectly for my application.
