RonRon: This one only has 8 DIP switches, so it doesn’t work with syncing up with my other remotes. Instructions don’t say anything and I’ve googled for an hour. I May have to send them back.

Cesar: Sirve de reemplazo para control de 1 botón (color gris con dip switch de 8), el mio tiene un detalle que al apretar bien los tornillos los botones se presionan o quedan a nada de activarse con un leve roce pero se pudo arreglar.
Cuando lo compré se me hizo un precio razonable (500 mxn).

JM: I purchased two, one for my car and one for my wife's car. The instructions as to how to set the toggle switches to separately operate two different gates could be clearer. This was made even worse as it took me a while to figure out that the reason these were not working at first was that they sent me one with a dead battery and another with a very weak battery. Once that was remedied they worked fine, but at the price for such a simple item, I would have appreciated the respect for a customer of sending units with fresh batteries. Demerit of one star accordingly!

Straighforward LG: Update May 2018: I always like when people update their reviews after some experience with the product so I thought I would update. I've now had my opener for 4 years (no battery change yet) and my spouse has had the same style opener for 8 years with no problems at all. He changed his battery once in 8 years. This is an excellent product.
Too bad the measurements are still wrong on this web page! I posted the exact measurements below and the photo above of the man holding the remote gives an idea of it's size.
Originial Review: I just bought two of these remotes for our two old GTO gate openers but we've had another one of these remotes for several years. It works great. No malfunctions or breakage and we haven't had to change the battery yet.
I don't know why the Amazon page doesn't give the correct dimensions. It's not easy to tell from the photo. The actual measurements are 1 3/8" wide, 2 1/4" tall, and 1/2" thick, not counting the visor clip which adds about another 1/2" to the thickness.
