Joshua Higgins: Was super easy to replace my old lock, also comes with all the parts you need if you're installing on a brand new door. Hardware is great quality, and is certainly stronger than the one I replaced. There is anti-picking and anti-shimming (like with a credit card) security in place.

The keys are large and oddly shaped, but I kind of like it because it sticks out among my other keys. Using for a bedroom.

To the reviewers saying they are easily picked with a coin, pay attention to what handle style you're buying. A "passage" style is for a closet or other door that doesn't need a lock. A "privacy" lock locks only from the inside, doesn't have a key, and can be unlocked with a tool (or coin) from the outside.

And finally, an "Entry" lock comes with two keys and is much more secure. Can be used to lock a bedroom, garage entry, or front door.

SRob: Definitely easy to install. Maybe took me 5 minutes including getting the tools out. Seems sturdy but time will tell on that.
The keys are weirdly large.

brian: I purchased this for garage side entry door use. I have used this lock outside in winter weather (here that means 5-30 degrees F) with no issues. The knob/lock holds up to exterior weather perfectly well and and I have thus far experienced no issues. I have experienced no issues with key functionality, knob resistance or anything else negative to its usage.

This is a moderate entry door locking knob. It does a reasonable job at a task that is poor to begin with. Most of these products are put in use with all wood frame doors. Wood will break and give much faster than metal. While many talk on how easy these locks are to pick, a solid force to the door is going to get you past this anyway.

I find this product to be far better than the Kwikset it replaced in the climate here. If you are securing a wood door frame, the lock is not your weak spot to someone looking at forced entry. For one who is going to pick their way in, most all door locks pick the same. I suggest truly looking at your security needs and implementing accordingly.

Latch a bit shorter than I expected/than my last door was - a little bit of a hole on the side of knob since it doesnt cover last hole completely, but may be an issue with last knob idk

No name damm: First time I ordered: Everything looks great but they forgot the keys. I bought a new bedroom lock because we don’t have a key for it. Gonna have to return but otherwise, it looks great. Returned and ordered a new one but it also didn’t have a key! Eventually, they did send the same lock but with a key.
Now I ordered it again a few years later and again no key and when I phoned Amazon customer service I told them what happened last time thinking they would just send a replacement but they said it's not supposed to come with a key even though the doorknob has a keyhole because it's the Bed/Bath style and not the entry style I bought. I paid $30.48 before tax and they refunded me $7.62. Just go with a different brand or buy a key separately.

BALAKA!: Having to have dealt with the first doorknob I'd purchased prior to this one (a poorly designed Brinks) the installation was a snap and I must say I'm very. very impressed. I use this knob in the front door to my apartment. It really holds up even with the deadbolt unlocked it holds up very, very well. I performed a few of my own tests on it after installation and it wouldn't budge for anything. Highly recommended. ** I have noticed confusion with many reviews for these doorknobs crossing over to other knobs making it confusing to decipher which review is for what product. To avoid confusion this review is for the Master Lock BCO0115 Biscuit Keyed Entry Door rlock. I don't know why it did not include any tasty biscuits to enjoy while installing the lock (which takes a matter of minutes by the way) but still, I highly recommend it.

kcatters: Reassuringly solid construction. Beautiful finish. Good size and shape of knob feels nice in the hand.
Nothing weird or difficult about installation.
Keys are oddly big, but that's easy enough to deal with.
Interior locking tab turns (doesn't pop in and out) very easily, making it easy to unlock AND lock from the outside using the key. This also means that you need to be very mindful that you are actually leaving the tab in the unlocked position if that's your intention.

I've installed cheaper door knobs in this location in the past that, inspite of careful installation, became lose/flimsy within just a few days. Since installing this nearly a month ago, I've been given absolutely no reason to anticipate such flimsiness with this product.

kyldh: These are great-looking high quality door handles. I enjoy them. The only reason they got 4 out of 5 stars is because they're so incredibly easy to unlock from the outside of the room. Most handles that I've ever had you at least need a paper clip or something skinny to unlock them. These you can unlock with a coin, any key, your finger nail... anything.

Now, I understand these are "privacy" door knob. They're not meant to secure a room. They're more like a way to say "Hey, don't come in here. I'm not wearing any pants."

Still they make me feel kind of bad when I leave in the morning and my girlfriend asks me to lock the bedroom door that extra added sense of security. Of course I lock it for her, but my honest thought is "Uhm, if the intruder has any change in their pocket or hasn't cut their nails for a couple days, this door might as well be unlocked..."

So it's a good handle. Buy it. But if you're being chased through your home by a serial killer, expect locking this door behind yourself to only gain you 1 or 2 seconds of lead time.
