carol: I have a six month old puppy for some reason who likes to chew off the ends of all my plugs. I was so afraid she was going to get shocked that I finally found this and it works wonderful. She does not bother anything like that again and I do not have to worry about her getting hurt I would highly recommend this.

R. Lieberum: White plastic box that is installed in place of a outlet cover. Comes with adapter for both standard outlet and the rectangle outlet. Installation was as easy as removing 1 screw that held the outlet cover in place and using the slightly longer screw this cover came with to attach the adapter and cover as one piece. No complains and seems to be made of quality material. Easy to open and close for adult.

Chelsea: Works well and locks securely, I wish it came with a wire cover as well. Had to instal the cover upside down so the wire would come out the top. Otherwise it fits the block plugs nicely.

betsy gowen: Used for a 12/3 (12 gauge wire/3 wire power cord) power extension cable. The plug on 12/3 cable is a bit larger than most devices (chargers, etc). This will cause the cable to protrude further than what the doors allow for closure. I mounted the cover, plugged in the power cord, and used a marker to outline the opening needed to allow for door closure. Next, I cut the doors with a 24 TPI (24 teeth per inch) hacksaw on the outline. The opening I cut was approximately 3/4" across and approximately 2" long. This allows for the curvature needed to angle the power cord from the plug to the cable opening in the bottom of the cover. I mounted the cover with the cable opening on the top, as I'm running the power cord directly up the wall, along the ceiling, then into another room. The doors now close easily and the power cord only protrudes by approximately 1/2". There may be a larger cover available, but it was easy to modify this one, saving the time and resources that would have been wasted on an item return to Amazon.

Alyssa: It sort of does it’s job. But if the plug you’re trying to cover is sideways, it’s really difficult to close it. I got it to cover the cord to my sons camera monitor behind his bed

Andrea K: I use this in my living room over an outlet I need regular access to. I like that there are no loose parts. Easy for and adult to open, but kids have trouble. My special needs 5yr old has not figured it out yet, so it serves the purpose. Great product in my book.
