These envelopes are exactly as advertised and accepts metering ink or stamps very well. The peel off adhesive performs great but does require some pressure for it to adhere well..

A good quality envelope with a caveat: When stuffing your envelope with your invoice, statement, etc., you kind of depend on the side flaps to guide your document into the envelope.
The side flaps on these are only about 3/8ths of an inch (more accurately 1 centimeter). The non-selfsealing envelopes I had before were about 5/8ths of an inch (or about 1 1/2 centimeters).
I'm sure this design was a cost savings for the manufacturer. but it can get frustrating when stuffing a lot of envelopes.
