K. Rex: There was a time when I LOVED receiving mail, because I was a naïve and innocent child, and an envelope addressed to Moi meant: Hallmark Birthday and Holiday Sentiments with a $5 bill from Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles 3,000 miles away.

No one was sending Me junk mail - although I did cull the recycling bin in My Building for YEARS, and have enough 20% Off Coupons from the late Bed Bath and Beyond, I could probably get a grant to turn them into an art installation.

I digress.

There were no invoices for remaining balances after insurance paid for medical or dental appointments, no utility bills, no insurance premiums, credit card statements, mortgage, and certainly no cheques to write, or register booklet to balance. Those were the salad days, as a grade-school multi-hyphenate gettin‘ paid tax-free from My Lemonade Stand, Babysitting Gigs, and collecting fivers.

I actually love sending cards, and letters, still, written with a fountain pen, and wax seals with My Monogrammed Initial(s). While I do get hand cramps, the response to this archaic form of correspondence is always justified.

This particular item is the most mundane in the paper goods...

Third, they have a quick-seal closure, which is very convenient and reliable. The self-seal adhesive strip is very strong and easy to use. I just peel off the protective paper and press the flap down firmly. The seal is complete and secure across the entire width of the envelope, and it won’t open or tear easily. TorontoToronto: These envelopes are pretty good.Has decent thickness and weight.Does offer good privacy blocking of letters inside but you can see a tiny outline of dark print.The adhesion is very good.Nice and secure.For the price it is a good deal.
