Rosie: I dove into taking care of a betta without knowing how involved it actually should be. No regrets! I do wish I would’ve had the stress guard from day one, though. I has helped tremendously!

Shine Like A DiamondShine Like A Diamond: So just to clear things up for anyone who is unsure. Paraguard & stress guard can be used together. I recently got back into discus and in knowing how sensitive they can be I wasn't sure what to use during quarantine. I watched a couple of videos & did some reading & reviews on line & the paraguard was highly recommended. There wasn't anyone using it with stress guard but I figured I'd give it a try. So here is how I used it. I ordered the first 7 discus & I didn't do as much research on the seller as I should have (I won't mention sellers name but just believe cheaper is NOT the way to go) anyway when I got them they were skinny, doing a whole lot of rubbing and 2 had ich. That being said I turned the heat up to 92°(this high for fish who can handle high temp only) & treated with both stress guard & paraguard for 2 weeks (put temp slowly back down to 84° when done). All fish survived & are doing great. Now as for the second batch of 9 discus . They came in healthy (more reputable seller) so I did just 3 days of both. Now if you are doing a 2 week quarantine like you should if you see any trouble you can restart both until you see they are doing...

Janeycakes: Bought this for my bala shark as he seemed stressed and had injured his nose from flipping himself out of the tank during cleaning. Works great. Haven’t been super consistent with it but I already notice his face is healing well and he seems much less stressed and calmly swimming around now. Very glad I bought this product

WhimsikellyWhimsikelly: My rummy nose tetra lost an eye overnight in my community tank. I have rearranged some tank decorations and I suspect the rummy nose was injured as a result of that as there were no signs of aggression in the tank.
I ordered this as soon I saw the injury and added some almond leaves to help the healing process.

My rummy nose tetra stayed floating in one spot for several days not eating or interacting with other fish. Tbh I thought it was not going to make it. I have a 20 gallon so I just dosed the required amount. I saw improvements within 2 days, my rummy nose was schooling again but it took a couple more days before it started eating again.

It been a couple of weeks since and my rummy nose tetra is doing really well, it is nicknamed Pirate now.

Pottsy444: A great price for a very good product.
It will dye anything blue including plastic suctiins cups lol. But the water will stay clear.
This is a standard item in my aquarium chemicals kit. I use it to reduce stress in the betta tank, and also for treating any ailments or introduction of new fish. This company makes some of the best stuff out there in my opinion.
I have used this in the same tank with malachite treatments for ich.
I also use it in my brackish crab tank.

Kevin Chung: My betta and I have been fighting fin rot on and off for a while now. Recently figured out what the cause for the tears that allowed fin rot was, and removed it from the tank. I've tried lots of things, from aquarium salt to tablet based anti-fungal/bacterial medicines, which have all worked mildly for him. He was as happy and energetic as could be, but it was sad to see his fins torn and short all the time. I did some research, and I decided to try this Stressguard.

My thought process was this: combine aquarium salt and Stressguard. The salt helped disinfect any open wounds, and the Stressguard would come in, bind to the exposed proteins in the wounds, promote regenration, and create a strong slime coat to protect against any foreign bodies. It worked perfectly! This combination, plus a 50% water change every day for a week straight allowed my betta to consistently regrow his fins back more than I had ever seen before. This product is awesome. You just mix in the appropriate dosage for your tank, and done. You can safely double the dosage, and you can add this to the water every day until your fish shows signs of improvement, as the bottle says. Not only does it help with...
