C.I.A.: As any fish aquarium hobbyist knows, setting up a new tank can be frustrating. Waiting for the biological filter to catch is a constant battle with ammonia levels. I tried some other brands, did 25%-50% water changes with reverse osmosis water twice weekly but still lost fish. After reading everything I could find on the topic I found that Prime is the only product to use. I dosed at the max amount recommended, continued the partial water changes and within a week my tank was perfect. Don’t waste your money on any other product. Stick to Seachem products and you and your fish will be happy.

Karl AKarl A: I ordered this product because it was a cheap way to fertilize my planted tank. Not only did the package arrive earlier than expected, but it also did a great job at fertilizing the plants I chose in the tank. This fertilizer is great for sterilizing fish tank water so that it is safe for plant and fish life. It also helps remove any chlorine from tap water, this is very handy because it makes water changes a lot easier. Rule of thumb; if you're like me, I ordered the fertilizer for a very small amount of water (less than 3 gallons), which is problematic because one cap is a dose for a 5-gallon tank. To solve this problem, add a small amount of fertilizer (less than a cap full) to a separate container of water. Let the water sit overnight so that the fertilizer can fully mix in. Then, add (about a cup or two, depending on the tank) of water to your tank setup. Repeat this process over when water runs out. Overall, this product is worth the money and I would strongly recommend it to any beginners like me.
