NancyNancy: I absolutely love it! I have major depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD so unfortunately, I struggle with taking care of myself. I bought this pocket chart in hopes of it helping me by reminding me to take a shower every day, brush my teeth, change clothes, etc. The cards I printed out were all free online as well! All I had to do was print and cut them out. So far it has helped a lot and I give myself rewards at the end of the day and I take away stickers (my favorite ones haha) or go to bed early to punish myself if I don't follow my schedule.

Michelle E.: This is absolutely fantastic. My son and I use it for a variety of projects from math to science to english. We aren't limited to just words and poems on the chart. We even play sorting/counting games on it. It is very durable and that's coming from a mom of a 4 year old boy who's quite rough on things. He's even accidentally pulled it off the wall hooks and the chart had sustained no damage whatsoever. This is a great chart for the price.

Country Curly: This is a large pocket chart. It's perfect for whatever you'd like to use it for. I use it with sentence strips for reading. It has a sewn in rod at the bottom (as do all Scholastic pocket charts). So, it lays flat. The reinforced grommets are great, however, you will not be able to hang this on a wall using 3M clear hooks. So, I used bread ties to attach it to the 3M hooks I ordered to use with this. Works just fine. I do feel like I paid too much for this product. It's just a thin nylon sheet with plastic pockets on it. But, it works great for the purpose I'm using it for.

Jack: We bought this for use in our home. This is our first time owning a pocket chart, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, I thought I'd help out with some things I've noticed.

This pocket chart works great with our 3x5 inch index cards. It holds 6 index cards with a gap in between each one. If I get them really close, 6 and a half. We use the full cards for our words and the half cards for punctuation, so it works well for us.

The overall size is 34" wide x about 43" long. It seems much bigger than what I had envisioned in my head. It barely fits on the roll-around laundry rack that I have it on. With the height of the rack included, it is as tall as my 5.5 yr old son.

The rod sewn in is at the bottom of the chart. I guess it helps keep it from curling up at the bottom and maybe adds a little weight to keep it straight?

It seems well made and was shipped so that the plastic strips were not bent up at all. It was folded vertically in the package. Although I can still see where the folds were, they are not obvious enough that I need to try and iron them out. The fabric seems thick enough, and doesn't collect dog fur.
