Krupa B: If you already have a Schlage door knob in place and wanted to change the style, this is a 5 minute fix. Just remove old door knob ( leaving all other parts in the door intact ), and replace with this new door knob. It doesn't get any easier. Love the price, and quick delivery.

This is a nice door lock, worked great on a newly installed hallway door. The locking mechanism is different from my other locks, but it is fine and easy to use. I was pleased with how easy it was for me to install.

GM: I was looking for locking door knobs for a safety situation in our home. Unfortunately the locking mechanism is stuck in "unlocked". Not so helpful or safe when you REALLY need the door to be locked!
I bought this Schlage one because I have had great experience with the sturdiness of their products in the past, but this product has really let me down.

50ishMale: Solid handles, but the push button lock feels a little tight, does not depress much and takes a bit more effort. Perhaps that was purposeful to prevent accidental locking?? Not sure and it is a little nit picky but I don't like it.
The same Schlage older handles in my house for over 10 years have been flawless and the lock is a bit easier.
Would continue to but this brand

Jonathan Smith: A decent handle is getting tougher to find, but this one is alright.
Has a nice enough look to it, finish seems good and overall the handle feels solid when you use it.
My only complaint is the turning radius is more extreme than other handles, so with other handles you turn about half way and you can open the door, this one makes you turn fully. Not a deal breaker, but when you are used to not having to turn a handle fully to open a door on every other handle in the house you will notice the small amount of extra effort needed on this handle...or find yourself pulling on a door not yet willing to open. Doesn't seem to be adjustable for that issue either.
