Michael Alfano: The handles work great for what I needed.
The instructions provided in the box are awful. After pulling my hair out and saying a few choice words…I came across this as a solution:
Step One - flip over the handle so that you are looking at the part that goes to the door.
Step Two - use the “tool” to pry the two indented pieces to separate the rose plate from the cover plate. To do this slide the thin “key tool” in between the two metals at the indents and pry apart.
Step three - slide the plate up the door knob out of the way. Then use the key tool or a small flat head screw driver to push in the release button on the rose plate to release the handle. Push the release button (small rectangular piece) inward and pull the handle out at the same time.
Step four - remove handle and cover from rose plate - then install rose plate to the door using the template an a small level.
Wanted to share for others who come across this problem.
