Tweazle: Beautifully written book, ideal in my opinion for teaching little ones to read. Story is delightfully simple and perfectly repetitious with simple words being repeated (ala Dr. Seuss) on every page. My son, who is not normally noted for his helpfulness, found the book for me; I was looking for something to help keep the little ones entertained while their parents and the rest of my family enjoyed their Christmas dinners uninterrupted.

Shortly after starting to read the book aloud a commotion at the dining table started with Jeremy's teenage daughter, for some reason, spitting out a mouthful of her dinner in a most unladylike manner, proceeding then to find this display of poor table manners hilarious and rolling around in tears of laughter. However my youngest daughter showed her displeasure by turning an odd colour while I was reading to her brood which my husband mistook for her choking on a Brussels sprout, leaping into action to perform his version of the Heimlich manoeuvre which, thankfully she survived. All the while the children seemed completely oblivious to whatever was causing such extreme reactions around the table. As was I.

kriszta: The very first time I heard about this book I was shocked. Because people went nuts over it taking it seriously!!!!! Playful and extremely funny. Totally hilarious, language used very well to make you laugh. I bought it for Christmas for my boyfriend, and I cannot wait to see him laughing so hard that he will fall off the sofa. If you have friends with great sense of humor this is a perfect gift for them. The "naughty" part is only known for adults, so actually you can make it a challenge for yourself to read it to your kid without bursting into laughter. Or have a competition between the parents who can sell it better for the kids. Now I would love to watch that. :)

Joni P.: This book is totally awesome. I just wish I would have thought to write it! It is an adult book disguised as a children's book, which actually, in my opinion, makes it funnier. The artwork with the text had me doubled up with laughter at times. If you think this is a book for children, read the title again. And, if you still order it, read the text to be sure. If you ordered it for your children, you can always send it back. No need to have a hissy fit about it not being suitable for children. It quite obviously wasn't written with that audience in mind. I, however, with my twisted sense of humor, found it totally hysterical and a great stress reliever.
