B&H: I needed a lot of coverage for a lot of items and was using a utility trailer. I bought 2 of these and put all kinds of luggage inside them. I drove over 4,000 miles on a trip where we opened and closed the bags multiple times. They both worked flawlessly, were sturdy and most importantly everything was bone dry.

Amazon Customer: Used this for a girls trip. Holds a lot of stuff, but isn’t quite waterproof in a torrential downpour situation. Our bags along the front got damp, not soaking wet but we had to hang those items to dry when we arrived at our destination.

KristeenKristeen: I DO NOT RECOMMEND if there’s even the slightest chance you’ll be driving through rain. This is not rain resistant. When we arrives to our destination everything inside the luggage that was inside the cargo carrier was wet. Everything. A weeks worth of clothes and shoes for my family of 5 was all wet.

Not only was the inside of the carrier wet but the rain followed the straps inside the vehicle and while we were driving the rain was leaking inside. Dropping down onto the kids in the back.

I was sure to flow directions. The side without the zipper was in the front. The flap was secured over the zipper and yet everything was wet.

Faith Wyse: I don't camp that often, however, whenever I do it's with lots of friends so we always need extra space and this rooftop bag did the trick! This bag held the majority of our stuff with room too spare! It was sturdy. It is simple to pack and comes with a couple of different kinds of cords to strap it onto the roof without flapping in the wind while driving. I highly recommend it!

Jessica Burdett: I love this product! We kept it inside to unwrap it as we were traveling in the cold. The material tends to tighten up when cold. It was easy to put on top of my Expedition. We were able to store 4 large hard side suitcases, 3 small overnight bags, and other random items that we fit around those pieces. We drove through snow and light rain and everything stayed dry and the sealed.
