Mort: This is my second one. The first one worked so hard and for so many years it snapped and broke down. But I had such good success with it I ordered another one. I think I just bought the last one in the US because it was out of stock everywhere. That told me it was a sought-after machine and I'd better buy it when I find it. Glad I did because I had just bought three new ink cartridges. Now I'm set for reams to come!

Tim Gee: I like the ease of use. Linux, Android, and Apple machines easily attached and printed after a simple set up. Sleep mode was a bit confusing. I just accepted I couldn’t turn it off and got on with life. Excellent print quality...Black and white only

Steve Pulley: The printer works great for text, and very fast, which was the principal reason I purchased it. Graphics are so-so (newspaper print quality), but I wasn't so much interested in that aspect, so my overall rating is strictly intended for those primarily interested in text output. Price was also well-within my limited means. On the downside, putting the pieces together out-of-box on my own was a bear, and took me much longer time than I anticipated. The instructions were minuscule. Novices might be better off requesting help from an expert. I highly recommend you download the far more complete PDF installation guide before starting. Once I got it together and operating, however, I was quite pleased with the result.

Exmothian: Bought this as a second printer just to print stuff off my phone when needed.
Bigger than I expected but that means a lot of printer for your money!
Fairly easy to set up. Only problem was with the ink. You have to remove it from the printer by working out what to press or pull. Lots of blue tape to remove. When removed you have to pull a long piece of plastic strip (looks like non-sticky cellotape) from the cartridge. BEWARE - once it is fully removed a cloud of black ink dust shoots out, so do this over a sink!
The instructions were not particularly clear regarding the paper loading. At first it did not seem big enough to take A4 paper. But it actually sticks out the back, which isn't a particularly great solution but does keep the cabinet smaller. A plastic enclosure would be a good idea to clip over the protruding paper to prevent dust entering the printer.
Connected to the phone after a few attempts at the password.
Print quality is good considering the price. Obviously just black and white but images clear and sharp. Printing is very fast, almost instantaneous after requesting print on the phone. Doesn't seem to need any warm-up...

David A.Salazar Pérez: Es un poco grande para mi casa, y parece de oficina, pero para las impresiones de los temas universitarios y otros que requieren grandes impresiones está muy bien. Aparte, eso de tener en un cajo las hojas de papel las protege y es un plus.
Por lo demás, la comunicación via wifi es correcta y lo hago desde todos los dispositivos, windows, mac, android... sin problemas de dimensiones ni nada.

Antonio, Correggio: Bella stampante, compatta, veloce per uso domestico o piccolo ufficio. L'imballo è ben resistente ai corrieri maldestri. Al primo utilizzo, la stampante va configurata collegandola al computer tramite il cavo grigio in dotazione, avviando il cd in dotazione e seguendo le istruzioni. Una volta fatto questo primo setup, si scollega il cavo grigio e la stampante funziona Wi-Fi senza problemi (ovviamente il cavo elettrico resta connesso). Disponibile fronte-retro. Disponibile opzione Eco che stampa rimpicciolito due pagine in una, utile per vedere come sarà la stampa finale. Funziona anche come dispositivo di stampa dal mio smartphone Android. Non sono invece riuscito a far funzionare il NFC (non riconosce il tag) pare perché la app Samsung Mobile Print non è compatibile con il mio smartphone Samsung. Mistero. Molto valido anche il fatto che la stampante vada in stand-by da sola e si riattivi alla prima richiesta di stampa, così non bisogna spegnere e accendere tutte le volte. C'è una porta ethernet e una porta stampante (quella per il cavo grigio). Il vassoio ha un indicatore analogico della quantità di carta. Il pannello di controllo ha on/off, interruzione...

Lexicon: Ich habe den Drucker als Austausch für einen Brother Laserdrucker gekauft und nutze ihn vom PC und auch vom Smartphone.
Die Grundidee war: kein USB Kabel mehr und stattdessen das sowieso existierende W-LAN zu nutzen und gleichzeitig einfaches Drucken von mobilen Geräten wie Smartphones. Gleichzeitig sollte unbedingt eine Duplexeinheit für beidseitiges drucken vorhanden sein, das war bisher bei meinen anderen Druckern immer sehr mühsam.

Mit dem Drucker kommt ein Netzkabel und ein USB Kabel mit. Bewegliche Elemente sind von außen mit einem Klebeband fixiert das man natürlich erstmal entfernen muss. Es hängt auch nicht zu übersehen ein großes Papierschild vorne das man auch die Tonereinheit erstmal von der Sicherung befreien muss. Dazu muss man die Klappe öffnen um die Einheit herausnehmen zu können. Das ist alles sehr einfach auch auf der beiliegenden Anleitung beschrieben.
Für A4 Papier muss man die Halterung innerhalb der Schublade nach hinten ausziehen, leider guckt damit hinten ein Stückchen raus und das Papier dort ist auch nicht mehr geschützt vor Staub etc. Hier wäre es besser gewesen Samsung hätte von vornherein das Gehäuse für...

LloydMarcus: Le seul bémol se situe au niveau de la configuration sans fil, lorsqu'on a un réseau WIFI masqué avec un filtrage des adresses MAC.

J'ai dû ruser pour débusquer l'adresse MAC de la carte WIFI de cette imprimante, en désactivant temporairement le filtrage MAC de mon AirPort Extrem pour la voire apparaître dans l'interface de gestion de ma Livebox ... curieux qu'elle ne soit pas à disposition plus facilement ?!

Une fois cela fait, et depuis une connexion USB (à noter que c'est seulement par là qu'il est possible de saisir un SSID d'un réseau WIFI masqué), j'ai pu très facilement la rendre disponible pour les ordinateurs.

AirPrint pour le coup depuis un iPhone 6 fonctionne parfaitement ! et en recto/verso je vous prie !

Elle est rapide, sans être une bête de course, mais la rapidité n'est pas ce qu'on lui demande pour un usage domestique. Ni bruyante ni silencieuse comparée à une autre imprimante, elle fait son travail et elle le fait bien.
