ZopheriousZopherious: This is a very good stain however it’s very dark, like almost black (and I was using it on white oak) so I would recommend cutting it with some water and adding some acrylic paint to add more color. Would buy again though.
In my picture is the before and after. I used 16 oz paper cups to mix it and I used aprox 2 inches stain and the rest water and acrylic paint to get the shade of purple I wanted.

This specific purple in my picture is about 3tbs magenta and roughly a tbs of bright medium blue in said 16oz cup. it took 3 coats to cover my project how I wanted.

Indiana User: This stain worked well for me. The color is accurate per the sample (Urban Grey). It applies well and clean up is easy. The only concern I have is the tall, narrow 12 oz container. This is very easy to accidentally knock over while using. It happened to me. No harm done do to the easy clean up but I did end up wasting a couple of ounces. This is my clumsiness and no problem with the stain. However, you might consider pouring it into a jar or other more stable container. I'll definitely use this stain again in the future. It's an excellent product.

ABlast4: I don’t review much, but i’ve been looking for a good stand for a while and this one is fantastic.
Perfect stain if you want to FULLY change wood to desired color… assuming your wood does not have a previous finish on it already. The coloring is deep and penetrating, easy to apply, and stays on VERY EVEN. Only one coat is needed. No clumping. Choose your color wisely, because that will be the exact color of your project forever. Couldn’t avast for a better experience, and is much less expensive than other stains of this high-quality

Peter: Worked perfectly to restore stained kitchen cork floor that was showing a lot of wear. Finished with 3 coats of Saman floor varnish and the floor is like new!

BichenbrunetteBichenbrunette: So I haven't worked with low odor non toxic transparent stain before. Varathane Kona is usually my go-to color. However after staining some stair treads with it in the gel form (hadn't realized it was oil based) the stairs stunk for about 6 weeks. Kona also is not very transparent if at all on the gel form.

That led me to try this product. Completely different color than Kona but so much more depth of color. It was a bit of a learning curve.

The ikea moppe drawers I turned into a nightstand were done first with a foam roller (wouldn't recommend) though I don't hate how it came out. The shelf was done afterwards. It's an Ivar shelf from ikea and I believe it's pine.

I have a fine mister bottle that I sprayed into the cup of stain to water it down further and I would also wet the rag and the wood slightly so that it didn't absorb right away. It has a lot of play time before drying and I really like how if one area is too concentrated you can mist some water on it and it disperses almost like watercolor in the tube. You can also do this if it dries too pigmented as well to reactivate and work in into other areas which I really appreciate. I plan to layer...
