Michele Y: I had to purchase due to hot flashes. Ive read many reviews on hand fans and this one is perfect. Of course these will break if you’re rough on them but the quality is better than I expected and it seems it will last. It does not necessarily feel “papery” and the bamboo doesn’t feel very thin. I bought two, one for the house and one for my purse but will be buying two more to put around the house (kind of like all the chapsticks I have stashed around-ha!). I don’t feel like you’ll be sorry if you buy this fan..and it’s super cute!
