SaluSpa Vancouver AirJet Plus Hot Tub - 61" x 24"

Rick: We recently moved from a home with a Hot Spring hot tub that was used daily. Our current home doesn't have one but we'll only be here temporarily until our new home is built. I decided to try this to get us by until we move. I must say, I am very surprised how well this tub performs and how comfortable it is to sit in. The walls of the tub can actually support someone sitting on it... simply amazing. And last night, the temp outside was 30 degrees and this tub held at 104 degrees with ease. Using bromine tabs in the included dispenser that mounts inside the tub and basic water care chemicals, I am able to maintain perfect water with only once-a-week attention. It's also fairly quiet. The improvements I'd like to see is for the pump unit to automatically turn itself off when it's at proper temp and on again when it falls more than 2 degrees. It runs 24/7 as-is. I suppose it's nice that it always circulates the water this way, but I'd like the unit to get a break from time to time to prolong its life expectancy. But at this price it's an absolute bargain.

k|sparks: This was a great hot tub at first and I even built an enclosed area in my backyard for it. Everything was fine for the first year but soon into the second year I began to notice some
of the seams starting to become unglued. Fortunately no air was getting out but I used a couple of the included patches to reinforce those areas to be safe.

All seemed fine until a couple a weeks ago when i go to use it and notice most of the air was deflated. Taking a closer inspection I soon realized the areas around the top, blower, and piece that runs vertical with the filter were unglued.

I previously had a cheaper inflatable hot tub that i kept outside and used a lot more and it lasted longer. The reason I chose this model was because I figured I would get better quality based on the price and extra features. What a disappointment.

Also, be aware that regardless what model you get, your non return blower valve will eventually deteriorate and will cause water to leak back into your pump or leak from the connection between the spa and blower unit. These valves are very cheap and have worn out on both my hot tubs. So it will need replaced. Just search...

Colleen: Setup was fairly quick and easy. Hardest problem was trying to figure out that one set of pictures as for the lid and not the bottom of the spa.

Tends to take a while to warm up. Heating is slow and steady though.

Very relaxing and can set the bubbles for high and low speeds.

MS airbnb: I've had this for about a week as an addition to my airbnb. Set up was easy. The bubbles are strong. It's comfortable for 2-3. Let it heat up overnight with the top on.
Two important things: 1. Start by filling below the minimum line & add more water if needed. With 2 people in it plus the bubbles, it will easily overflow & we were scooping water out. 2. Inflatables don't have real jets, they push bubbles from the air outside. So the colder it is outside, the faster the water will cool. It's 90+ degrees here but it went from 104 to 97 within an hour. Still felt nice & warm but it doesn't hold temp for long. You have to recover & reheat. I'm concerned about winter weather & considered returning this, but its the same for all inflatables. I'd like it to stay hot for more than 30 minutes in the winter so we'll see. But the price is great, don't wana pay thousands for a regular one. Also the cord was too short to reach my outlet. So even though my research said 14 gauge was enough, I got the thicker 12 gauge per my electrician's recommendation. Blue JayBlue Jay: This is my first hot tub. Setup was not too bad, but I did freak out a little when I thought one of the connections was too long. Turns out that's the way it is supposed to be. Connect the long hose first, then connect the other small hose then connect to the larger hose. It went together just fine, even though initially it looked like it would never fit up. The wifi can only be connected to 2.4ghz network, and if your router has 2.4 and 5 ghz with the same ssid, it will not connect. This is pretty typical of many smart home devices, you need to have a dedicated 2.4ghz network name to connect your smart things.
I filled it with hot water from the tap to be able to use right away. It took absolutely forever, and I must have accidentally turned the heater on because it was 104 F when I went to use it. Turns out 104 F us way way way too hot for me. Waiting for it to cool down now...
There seems to be two settings for the bubbles, and one of them has a horrible high pitch to it so I won't use it. The other bubbles up the hot tub so much that at minimum water setting with nobody in the hot tub it almost splashes out. I didn't dare try it with me in it yet. I'm...
