Lucy and Molly: Love it, so far 2 feral males have attacked it - not a dent in it and my cat is still inside, no hole, rip or tear.
Great product.

Nancy: I put in a doggie door in my original screen door. The doggie door is great but the screen fell apart within a week since my girl is a brute. We replaced the screen with this pet screen and love it. Obviously the install is not as easy to cut as the regular screen door, since the material is stronger and reinforced with a fiber. It took about 20 minutes to install. Been about a month and holding up.

Meggalicious: I have been looking around for a very long time for an affordable and sturdy window mesh. My dogs destroyed every single window covering on the back of the house and the screen door. Since replacing the screens three or four months ago we have had no new damage and the screen is dark enough so that my dogs can see it and not run through it.
This mesh does the job and does it well and it's super easy to repair your own screens without having to pay someone else hundreds of dollars to do it.
comes with the mesh the lining and the tools all you need to do is cut it to size.

86: PROS: This combo kit was less expensive than getting the screen, spline tool, and spline separately.
The screen is strong.
Cutting the excess off was easier than I thought.
CONS: Like others have said, jamming the spline in the track is a bit difficult.***
Due to the thickness of the screen, visibility is slightly reduced and the outside world looks a bit darker. It wasn't as bad as I thought though.
***My technique: I laid the screen on top of the empty frame. There was about 3-4 inches of excess screen overhang. At first I tried to completely set the spline into the track starting at the end and proceeded inch by inch. This was very difficult and I almost gave up after seeing how long this was going to take. Instead, with my left hand I held about 5 inches of the spline over the track and held the screen in place with the same hand. With my right hand I took the spline tool and ran it over the same (2') area of spline in a zig-zag motion, back and forth on the same spot, like your cutting a piece of steak. The spline would then gradually start to sink into the track. This went much quicker. I used a flat-head screw driver to get the spline in the corners....

Retro Knight Gaming: My wife installed this she says:"It is thicker than average screen, very sturdy. Keep your old spline, as the new spline is thicker and will make installation difficult. This screen is thicker so when you apply it to the screen frame it will fill the grove twice what the old screen did, so you will need to use your old spline (if it is thinner than the spline included) I also pulled the spline to aid in inserting it in the groove. The screen is very nice. Seems to hold up to my 10 lb cat. The tool that is included to insert spline is not very good, but it did not break. But I have thin lady hands LOL, if your a strong guy you might break it, go buy a better one for a couple dollars."

Erich Zann: Cats like birds. They talk to them and try to lure them. Indoor cats like mine would have no idea what to do with one once caught, but they try. In that trying it’s not unusual for them to pull holes in the screen.
I’ve replaced all my screens with these. Strong and look nice. They will make the screen noticeably darker, as they are much thicker, and sharp cat claws can’t rip them.
Fairly easy to install. Comes with a plastic wheel tool. Throw it out and get a metal one. They’re inexpensive and do a better job pushing the spline in.
