I Love Books: The teaching of Sadhguru is not new to me. Back around 1998 he came to Nashville Tennessee for a two week course, the meetings were each evening for 3 or so hours and then both weekends all day. I had always heard that the teacher arrives when the student is ready, and I was ready. I sat in his presence, trying to absorb everything like a human sponge. The time literally flew by, so enjoyable, almost magical. One of the best experiences of my whole life. Later that year I also attended a weekend intensive for even more amazing experiences. Since then dear Sadhguru has gone from an almost "secret" guru to a world famous teacher and mystic. The small group of less than 100 I was in now grows to sometimes thousands. A few years later he expanded from the solitary ashram in India to another one in Tennessee. World leaders ask him to speak. Yet decades later he is still the same warm, insightful, humorous,mystical and wise guru that I met back when no one knew who he was. I have not seen him in person since 2003 but have kept up with him and his books and yearly celebrations from India.
