Runtasty Hydration Belt: #1 Winner for Runners' Fuel Storage

Amazon Customer: I love my new hydration belt. I tested it out Saturday on a Hot Morning in So Cal. I was doing a 5K on a hilly route and it held up great as did I! It was easy to access the bottle and return them to the holders. And the belt was so secure the non skid backing really works well to hold the belt in place without bouncing even with 2 full bottles and a wallet and iphone and car key in the pouch.
I am replacing a belt I used for many years as the caps on the bottle of the old one broke and couldnt find replacements. I like this new belt much much better.

Charlie B.: Note that I use the belt as a fanny pack not as a front pack as it is designed for. I don't enjoy front packs and find that I have to adapt front packs to my preference. I am an avid marathoner who run 5-6 days a week, 50 - 60 miles a week and use hydration packs on every run, so I am a heavy user.
As I am frustrated with the quality of the Nathan belts, I am searching for an alternative.
As a general statement this belt works as a fanny belt just fine, but some things are different as compared to other reviews.
As a fanny pack this belt does bounce, especially when the bottles are full. As the bottles are drained, the bounce is less. There are reviews that claim the bottles fall out, I don't understand how they fall out as the manufacture has elastic cords that retain the bottles in the holder. That being said, the elastic cord is thin and I don't see it lasting a long time before it breaks. However, I ran without the elastic cords around the bottles and found that the neoprene holders worked just fine as they surround the bottle well. ljgartner: I am actually amazed at this pack. It does not move while you run. Waters bottles are sexured(so smart) and it holds phone, keys,id,money and a 2 pack of epipens if you have a bee allergy like me. Great gift idea for those runners in your life especially those needing to carry epipens. Love Love Love 5 stars!!

hiya: Needed something to take to an outdoor festival that could carry some water and my phone as well as some goggles and other small necessities. This carried everything I needed it to, but I had a hard time making it work over my costumes. Still looking for the ideal option, but it was largely very functional.

Love the separate pocket for my phone since I took it out a ton to take photos, and I put my goggles in one of the water bottle pockets and strapped it in with the elastic and it worked great! Lip balm, small hand lotion, festival maps and ID in the other pocket.

Christina: I love almost everything about this belt. I love how large the phone pocket is, I don't have to struggle getting my phone in. I love that I can flip my phone up to see the face (I haven't quite figured out my headphones yet so it helps to be able to skips songs, etc). I love the grip on the belt, it keeps it in place and I don't have to constantly adjust like I did with my old belt. The only thing the I didn't love, which I am getting used to now, is how tall the bottles are. They are nice big bottles, but I have to wear the belt lower than I'm used to so that my arms don't rub on the top of the bottles. I would definitely recommend this belt, great quality for a great price!!
