Juli Myers: He Ruko F11Mini drone is a great value for the beginner drone enthusiast. I bought it primarily to use around my 2-story house to keep an eye on things that would normally require a ladder to check out. My brother-in-law also has a 2-story home, so I will also use it there. It is very small and lightweight, about the size of my hand with the rotor arms folded against the body of the drone. It is fairly simple to operate and the camera produces terrific quality video and still pictures. The App has a lot of features to tailor the flying experience such as limiting the altitude and distance so you don’t lose sight of the drone. I highly recommend practice flying in an open area or park to get a feel for the joystick controls. Very slow, slight movements will keep the drone steady and avoid the “tilt and level off” effect in your videos. The kit came packaged in a very nice padded case about the size of a kid’s lunchbox which keeps it safe and easy to transport. I am very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this drone package to anyone - child or adult.

Rhyon Daudt: The F11GIM is the first drone I’ve ever owned and the first I’ve ever operated. It definitely has more features than I need at this point, but I figured it gives me something to grow into. The user’s manual is extremely detailed and was a little overwhelming for me. I decided to learn how to fly first and worry about the intelligent flight modes later.

1. The drone itself looks and feels like a high-quality product. The case is not a hard shell, but it’s sturdy. I believe it to be foam lined with a soft outer shell.
2. The drone app has a lot going on, but it’s still user friendly. It has all of the tutorials needed to get up and flying without relying on the user’s manual. I’m using Android on a Galaxy S10. I’ve only flown twice, but haven’t had any issues. Pairing everything is easy if you follow the recommended sequence.
3. The drone is smooth and easy to fly. I like that the flight control system starts in low speed and beginner mode by default. This is useful as I’m not required to change those settings every time.

Tadd: First of all this is only my 2nd Drone I've used. My first one was for "BEGINNERS" not even close. It wasn't the worse I've seen. My brother-in-law had a couple that were really bad in my opinion. They were alot like mine where you spent more time trimming the drone than flying it. And then the battery wasn't but about 7-10 minutes range. So when I decided I wanted to buy a new one I wanted to have at least a few things for sure.
1. I dont want to fight the dang thing. This drone once you have done the proper calculations will fly in one spot & wont run off. Mind you it is in GPS mode. Which brings me to..
2. GPS is a must now days with as much as drones can cost you & not to mention that it will make a beginner fell souch more confident & that's worth a lot in itself.
3. Like most drone today it has the take off & return to home function. It works pretty good. And I'm not saying perfect because I do live around alot of other people in an apartment complex. And them we have housing additions all around us. So you do get a little interfere with the wifi connection some...and u do mean some. Ive only had a problem 2 time's & they both where just starting...
