Ruko F11 Foldable Drone with GPS Navigation

Paylord: As for Drones, there are minimal features everyone should have. Flight time should not be short. The drone should be very durable. The Drone controls should be sturdy. The Drone should have a good automatic return. At a minimum, the Drone should have those features. So after reading the manual carefully, I took the F11 out for its first flights. The goal was very simple, test the learning curve to adequately control the F11 without damage. Setup was easy if you follow the instructions. Then up and away we went. After a few not perfect landings, it became easy to land without incident. My advice is, there is no rush, so take your time landing. The automatic return and landing button worked as expected, close to the takeoff site but not perfect. As always, use a takeoff area that is nice and flat. Its nice that the there are additional features like follow me functionality and other extras. I consider those bonus items because if you want a Drone that you can control easy that seems durable at a good price. This one works and delivers extra features. One last thing, the camera does seem to take nice pictures.

jacob: This is a great drone, flies extremely well and handles high winds extremes efficiently. Out of the package, it’s extremely easy to assemble and came with a new set of blades and chargers for the batteries. I bought the drone almost a year ago and began having issues with the batteries life during flight time. I was only getting about 4 minutes of flight time out of each battery. I did reach out to customer service, they were extremely fast to answer and offered to send replacement batteries for the inconvenience. I would suggest this drone or any Ruko product for anyone interested in getting started flying drones or just looking at it for easy work or a hobby.

WhitF: I bought this for my partner who always wanted a drone. It is an excellent starting drone. While the controls were a little confusing at first, it is now quite easy to fly. Being a cheaper model, it doesn't do well in slight winds or have a particular long battery life but an excellent buy nontheless.

Critique RCritique R: This remotely piloted vehicle (RPV) appears to be the successor to the venerable Ruko F11, which was another great RPV at an incredibly affordable price point. I own the F11, and reviewed it favorable about ten months ago. With the experience gained with the F11, I was in a strong position to review the new Ruko U11.

Immediately upon opening the box the user is greeted by quick start guide (see included picture). Beyond the convenience afforded by printing the guide inside the box, I immediately noticed that the startup sequence, as compared to the F11, is shorter. The steps are similar, but clearly the U11 is able to process data like the remote connection and compass calibration more efficiently. After opening the included carrying case, which neatly and securely contains the RPV and all provided accessories, I also noticed that unlike the F11, Ruko has included a quick reference remote control guide that the user can place on top of the remote control for handy reference (see included picture).

Included in the durable carrying case is the RPV, the remote control, two batteries (one already installed in the U11, a mobile phone mount bracket for the remote control,...

JP: This is my wife’s drone.
It costs a fraction of the price of our other drones, and I’m impressed! Here’s how they compare:

We’ve flown it quite a few times now, and it’s a solid, stable drone with some cool features. (Follow me, tracking, return to home, maps, and much more...)
It lacks some of the features in the app in the higher-end aircraft, (voice commands, etc) and the camera isn’t as good as my new drones, but you’ll still get excellent shots and videos! And at this price, it’s great for beginners who want to learn, as well as enthusiasts who want a nice bargain that performs like a MUCH more expensive drone.

The 30 minutes of flight time per battery is GREAT, and is right up there with the DJI drones we have.

Easy to connect to your phone and fly with the app paired with controller.
The range is not quite as long as expensive drones, either. However, we flew yesterday over a large river with very high winds, and my other drone struggled and made me nervous, she flew the f11 right across the river to explore an island! It might have more range than advertised, but that might depend on your location. You definitely have more...
