Kathleen E. BadenhopKathleen E. Badenhop: This is a great product!! I bought one for my golden retriever Willow and we used it everywhere! She sat in it on our front porch when we did yard work. My husband took it with him when he took he to his parents farm. It kept her close by/out of the sun and she loved sleeping in it. Easy to fold and carry. I did keep the top zipped on otherwise she could possibly tip it over but, she was always happy in it!! Now that , as you can see by the picture, she is full grown we have folded the original one away and I bought the largest size!! We are off to Florida with it so she can sleep in it on the beach!! Best purchase ever!! Reasonable price!

Avid Reader: We had an issue with the zipper for the cover falling off after a few uses. No matter what we tried we could not fix it ourselves. We reached out to customer service to see about getting a replacement cover which we were willing to pay for. Customer service responded immediately and arranged for a replacement playpen to be sent which arrived a few days later. This was outstanding customer service and far more than we could have hoped for.

Cheryl A. Cayemberg: I absolutely love this product! It gives the puppy a safe place to sleep during the day where I am working. She sleeps well in her crate at night but I prefer to put her in her crate only at night, and when I have to leave the house.

We have a dog bed in this playpen, as well as her food and water and some toys. We weren’t going to use the lid at first, but she learned pretty quickly, that if she puts her paws on the top of it, she could get it to collapse and get out. So the lid got zipped on. We open up the side door to let her in and out and frequently she goes in there on her own with the door open. Now if I have to go and get something done, I know that I could leave her alone in here for a few minutes while I do something.

The only downside is the smell when I first got it. I set it up and let it sit for two days before I would put her in it.

mapgalmapgal: We have 3 miniature schnauzers (17 lbs each) and wanted to have them join us at a college tailgate. Found this soft-side crate (and matches the school colors!). Opted for the 36" wide crate so I can put it underneath a table while at the tailgate. I added a couple of round 36" wide rugs to go inside to keep the pups comfortable. It worked out so well- giving the 3 pups extra space to stand and sit, and each had room to sleep without piling on each other.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars:

1) It is lightweight so if a dog is rowdy inside, the crate can be moved by the dog (like a zorb or hamster wheel motion). Placing the crate under a square, tall tailgate table gave extra resistance for the create to stay in place. The crate doesn't have a way to be anchored down so be wary if using outdoors.

2) I wish the top cover when open had some velcro to keep it in place if you only want it to open halfway. The pups were smart and having a loose hanging cover = chew toy

3) Definitely do not leave a dog unattended in this crate. Great material and construction but it is a soft crate so an over-active dog can easily chew their way out of it.

Otherwise, easy...

Kathy: Bringing our tiny baby Pomeranian puppy home, we never thought the playpen would last less than two weeks. As she is so tiny we didn’t want her attempting/succeeding at getting on couches or the bed and falling off. It was great while it lasted, she loved it and we had big plans for socializing her throughout our “covid bubble” people’s backyards and them coming by to visit in ours. However, she was able to fray a significant amount of fabric off the zipper door and straight up put a hole in the floor in 12 days. Again, she was 2.2lbs to 2.7lbs in this time frame. We wanted somewhere she could be safe unsupervised with pee pad access for short periods of time while in earshot (doing laundry, cleaning her bowls, etc) without putting her in the crate. Apparently that was too much to ask. She liked it, we liked how it looked and folded up for portability. We are getting another (different brand as the price went up) but it will only be used during supervised visits to friends/new places so she can have her toys, water, etc and feel safe as she’s not yet comfortable in new places. Hopefully it works better for others as it’s fashionable and functional, if not they will...
