It’s great for small dogs cause medium dogs can probably jump out I suggest measure your dog and the height of playhouse to make sure it’s a good fit ! Also it was easy to put together BUT my husband had to grab his tools to screw the door on cause you can’t do it without tools !!!!!! Well u can u just won’t have a door lol but after the door was attached it was perfect ! I think there should be someway for customers to know you will need a tools to attach door

K. JohnsonK. Johnson: The playpen was easy to install and put together. You can quickly de-assemble it to bring it on a road trip and then re-assemble it because you only need to remove and reinsert the stakes after initial setup. The size is perfect for my Yorkie. I have it set up in four (4) quadrants: a sleeping area - his bed, his bathroom - pee pee pad, his food area, and his toy area. It doesn’t take up too much space as I live in a condo and it easily fit behind by the dining table. It’s pretty sturdy and my Yorkie cannot jump over it as he’s a small dog but if your dog is big then this won’t hold him. My Yorkie has no issues staying in the playpen as he’s in it from 6am to 7pm with an hour break every few hours so he exercises his legs and roam the house as he’s not potty trained yet. He’s only 5 months old and I’m still trying to train him and this has been instrumental because for the few days before I learnt about it and while I await for him when I first got him, he peed everywhere and I was wiping and washing my rugs everyday. Now, he’s great a peeing on the pee pee pad in my daughter’s room. I’m still trying to get him to go back to play pen to pee on his pee pee pad...

Irene Olsen: We are so pleased with this crate . Our rescue dog is 4 yrs. old 4 months and came up from Texas to Seattle in a big rig with many other dogs done by the greatest organization ( Thre Little Pitties) matching people and dogs. KVOS shows adoptees picking dogs up every so often on their news This Chihauhua x is so intelligent . We keep this crate in our living room and he goes in there whenever he wants , and every time meals, his food , tea , are being prepared for his safety and so he isn't in our way. This crate is worth every penny . We keep the door open otherwise and he goes in and out , has a nap when he wants. He feels safe and is a happy little 15 pound dog . BEWARE UPDATE : We ordered another heavier playpen of much better quality etc. but before we saw this I have put this one on my cart . THOUGHT I DELETED IT BUT they sent it anyway along with better one . Warning : They tell me it is acceptible for a refund !!!! The company will not refund money I paid and want me to choose something I have bought before in exchange but don't offer anything near the amount I paid .. Also will not send me a label so I can return it .

This is a plastic fence system. The corners are held by metal rods that slide in. The door is also plastic of course but the hinges and hardware is metal with self tapping screws that get screwed into plastic --- knowing this, you know that plastic and metal dont mix. When you assemble it once, dont remove it otherwise the screws will be looser each time.

The dimensions are true to size. Door closes OK and the latch allows it to lock closed. Generally the product is functional. The excessive plastics make it feel highly unsturdy and a bit flimsy but theres no hiding that this is what you should expect for plastic fences.

So i purchased this as an enclosed area for peepad training a puppy and for this purpose it works. actually i keep the door open. my puppy can easily just enter and exit to potty himself. It works just fine for this purpose. the reason i wanted it enclosed is because there are times (middle of the night) when he gets distracted and doesnt potty. Having it enclosed for the puppy gets him to focus a bit more rather than wander.

Jessica ChongJessica Chong: I’ve been meaning to get a playpen like this for a while now for my two male Chihuahuas, Benji and Gizmo because for some reason, they would always pee right on the corner edge of the potty pad or sometimes even miss it entirely and then I would wake up to dog piss on my hardwood floor and would have to go through the frustrating and very annoying process of putting on gloves and I would have a stack of paper towels that I have already torn off the role in sheets of one and two and fold it on top of that, and then getting down with the enzyme cleaner and going through that whole process. And like I already said, it was very annoying and on top of that I was using so much paper towels on cleaning up their mess.
So, I already had in mind of creating like a fenced area for them to go into that I would lay down potty pads that would fit in there exactly, so there was no missing and getting on the hardwood floor and ruining them.
