Meg224: This kit is alot of fun and it offers a variety of colors. My son loved it. He did two shirts and two towels. He used all of the colors. Pretty simple and easy to fill with water and use. Hours of fun and it's a fun craft for the whole family to do.

TIFF BEETIFF BEE: The media could not be loaded.  So, I was a little bit skeptical because the bottles are pretty small, but if you conserve, and plan your colour palettes for each shirt, you can make so many beautiful things!

I used a plastic tablecloth to protect my table when I was doing this, then I used a deep pan with a metal rack on top to place the shirt on to dye, so that any drips would be caught by the pan underneath the metal Rack.

I left the dye on the shirts for between seven to eight hours and then rinse them out by hand, then wash them in the washing machine and put them in the dryer. There are so many colour options and I think by not immediately rinsing them, the colours came out Vivid and well saturated. I wet the garments first and wrang them out really well and tried a few different tying techniques to give me various effects.

I am so happy with this kit, I will be buying it again and inviting friends over to do it for a wine night activity. Totally obsessed!

Christine Bevans: Very disappointed. I’ve used other kits in the past and the colours are much more vibrant. And a larger amount of dye.

Some of the colours were miss labeled , which made it frustrating when were were trying to only use green for a project.

Will not purchase again.

Madison Spence: I was super excited to get this because of the variety of colors and I would’ve given 5 stars but was very disappointed when it arrived. There was powder all over the outside of the box and opened it to find that the “red rose” color bottle was completely open with the powder all over everything else inside the box. What a mess! Red dye all over everything! There was also an apron missing. Half of the bottles had an issue where the foil seal was half off so some of the powder pigment was lost. The color Olive was actually a turquoise color. It seems like this was a return that wasn’t checked or quality control is lacking. I would’ve returned/exchanged this but it was for a party and I didn’t have time to wait for a replacement. Overall it was still usable and we are happy with our shirts but super disappointed that I had a big mess to clean with red dye all over everything and the fact that the seals weren’t properly done so we lost out on some pigment.
In my opinion, just a suggestion to the company, there could’ve been less dark blue colors and more bright colors. We ran out of yellow and orange super fast but had 6 shades of different dark blues that all...

Yuan: This is a good kit for kids stay at home . it is colorful I can make a shirt,scarf,tablecloth ,socks and everything if you want !The dyes are safe to machine wash and will not loose their color. This is a fun kit.

Sean: I love this product because it is in bottles and has diversified colors. Initially, I would give this to my daughter to play. She loves them and puts water in bottles to make the solutions very easy. So, I love the product easy to operate from bottles. The dyes are water-soluble and easy to be washed out from hands. It is hard to find so diversified color package.
Another function I use is to detect the leaking of water since the dye is concentrated and sufficient enough to do the test for a sink up to 1-4 gallon.

Carmen: This is an interesting product. It was my first time tie-dying anything. It was fun for the kids and a very fun idea for a night. We made many designs and washed them in the washing machine and the color did not fade much. I love all the color choices. It was very liquidy not sure if that is supposed to be like that or if it is supposed to be a bit thicker but overall enjoyed the product a lot. It was easy to use and pretty self explanatory. There were cute designs. I just wish they could give some ideas on different designs and how to wrap it to create those designs. That would be a great touch.

LindsayLindsay: We do tie dye every year instead of eggs for Easter. And this was a good set. Unfortunately, I didn't set them up right and we had some that didn't stick and washed out. But that was user error. So when I did it again the shirts held the color and looked good.

Some tips with using.

It is recommended that to do an soda ash bath. But all I did was soak the shirts, ring them out and then tied them up how we wanted.
Then we applied the dye. I applied enough so that it was really saturated and just starting to drip off the other side of the shirt.
Then I put them in a Ziploc bag to hold the moisture. I read that helps! So I did that and let them sit for 2 days.

Then I ran water on them till it was clear. Soaked in Vinegar to help the colors set more for about an hour. Washed them, dried them and then added my iron ons. And the end result was great! I was very happy with it.

Also, I used the shirt tie dye to stain my wood pieces too and those turned out AMAZING! So I am very happy with the set.

The set comes in bottles and dry dye. You just need to add the water. Seems to work well! And then I am not worried about the ones I haven't used leaking...

Ashley Anne: Awesome family project! I have been trying to come up with ideas for the family to do over the holidays and this project fit the bill. After purchasing some white shirts for everyone we followed the guide, bands and inks provided to make matching tye dye styles.

This kit came with everything! Bands to wrap the shorts, plastic gloves and aprons to keep clean and an easy to follow instruction too. Highly recommend.
