Jaye: It worked for our cats. I put the sheet of double sided clear adhesive on the parts of the couch where the cats would scratch. It is not overly noticeable (unless you point out our). When the tape got dusty it came off easily without leaving residue.

Lesley: The item arrived in a plastic bag with NO instructions on how to use it which is a bit poor. I tried to order 2 more packs as what i initially received didnt even cover half the lounge only to be told that i could only order one pack at a time 😖

Cloude: This works exactly as I hoped it would. I dont really even notice it on the couch, and my cat mostly just avoids scratching the couch entirely now. I only put it on one corner, and she didnt even bother moving to a different corner, she's just left it alone entirely?! Amazing.

KBKB: I would give this 5 stars, but it came packaged in a clear plastic slip and that was it. No identifying factors on it, no instructions, only what looked like white paper sheets in a plastic slip. If it was advertised that way, it wouldn't be an issue but I had no idea what it was initially, as it was shown to have packaging.
Anyway - huge success after our cats were targeting a brand new sofa. I didn't even need to peel off the white backing to make it double-sided - our cats stopped trying to scratch right away. Since it's working I won't peel off the outside unless it stops working, but I'll see what I can get out of it for now. Would buy again, and would recommend purchasing - it could save your couch (or other).

Mark: We used this tape on a new, retro style sofa made of vinyl. It deterred the cat from scratching but left a residue on vinyl. I’d use again but on fabric ONLY.

MyOpinion: Aside from the color of the paper (I thought it was clear, but it's an off white color); it got the job done. I will buy a clear protective cover next time; but it adheres well and works for my fabric covered ottoman.

ChikuPikuChikuPiku: I hv Cats, hence got this product out of desperation. it came all the way from USA. For the Price its not worth it. It is like a Sticky Pad, hence all hair, threads n dust gets stuck over it. It is Unvisible. Haven't seen my cats touch the sofa since that. There are 10 Sheets.

ElleJay: Bought a pkg for my chairs/couch so they wouldn't scratch them anymore. It works. One cat got so angry with it, she tried to bite it off. It also blends in with the couch so it's not immediately noticeable. I had to touch it as I went by to see if I remembered to do it. That's the great part.
The not so great part - remembering to breathe. First you pull off the yellow part, put the white-backed tape where you want it. Then you peel off the white part & voila. If you don't breathe, the air can get blue. That white part is a buggar to get off. Pick & pick & pick. Do yourself a favor, do the picking BEFORE you remove the yellow part & doggie-ear a small piece. It's not easy, but it's so much more easy to do that than to do it once you have it on the surface, ready to remove the white paper. Still a buggar, but it's better than turning the air blue. This is why the 3 stars.

NadiaNadia: We recently rescued a kitten and he has been tearing the house apart. Our couch actually belongs to our landlord and he seems to be focused on clawing the couch ends as much as possible. Both of our cats love scratching the corners of our mattress as well.
(I've edited my review a bit as I was using the product completely wrong the first day - I am even happier and impressed with the correct way to use this product! I was expecting something that worked, but was not aesthetically pleasing. Turns out some of the reviews were incorrect - the strips ARE transparent and are barely noticeable!)
I was under the impression from other reviews that the adhesion tape was not transparent. I made plans to have fabric draped over it or a sheet/blanket draped over the corners of our mattress. When I originally opened it I put the white sticky side on our couch ends and mattress corners. It worked! My partner took a look at the package and told me I was using the adhesion tape wrong! Haha! It IS transparent. There is another layer between the beige and white sheets that is thin and required my nails to peel back, but it's transparent (it's sticky on both sides)! This is a wonderful...
