Chris Haberman: Just bought a new collar for our new dog and of course I had to go with Rogz as I loved the collars I'd previously purchased.

I'm disappointed to say they've changed a few things and IMO not in a good way.

The new version:
-Tiny thing ring that barely fits larger leashes.
-Collar material is thinner
-Plastic pieces including buckle feel/look cheaper than old version
-collar no longer wraps around itself through the loop to fasten.
-the advertised Low Load Tech ring in the item description is not present in the new version of the collar either. The ring is sewn in before the buckle and is now shaped so you can no longer pass the other end of the collar through the ring.

I can't say this last one makes the new version an inferior product but I preferred the old version where you ran the collar back through the ring before connecting it into the buckle.

All in all its a good collar and I'll probably still go with rogz, but I am disappointed with the changes.

Los Jacks son perros enérgicos, muy juguetones y alegres, tienen dientes fuertes, pero el collar ha resistido sus mordiscos durante más de 4 meses. La marca ofrece una gran variedad de modelos, colores, etcétera.
Puedo destacar su comodidad y resistencia a prueba de mordiscos. También es bonito. Es fácil de colocar y quitar y el perro está a gusto con él. Primero compramos de color azul y luego uno rojo de repuesto, todavía el azul está en buen estado. A, también se puede alargar bastante ajustándolo mediante una hebilla y un clip, bien redondeados, para que el animal le sienta cómodo. Buen producto y de calidad, a un precio razonable. Bo's DadBo's Dad: The color and style and look is great! I got this for the puppy I am getting and it has the perfect look and color for a orange collar with the accent dashes that reflect to give it just a little flash and style and yet not to much to where it looks to start looking like it lacks class. I wanted a fast release collar as you are not supposed to keep the collar on your dog when in the Kennel and this is easy to take it off fast and put it back on. I literally like everything about the style and design and functionality of this collar. My only complaint is that I could not find the matching leash to go with it and this is while a really neat tint / shade of orange that looks great -- it is not easy to match it with leashes with orange. If you are just going to get a black leash or one that can extend and retract with the button then with the black cord it will go great, but if you are going to get a leash with some style to walk in places with a lot of people then it gets hard to find a orange like leash. I am trying out a few and once I find one that works great with this I will update the review.

MaryReade: I wasn't sure what to expect but needed a bigger collar as our Irish Wolfhound Puppy had outgrown the collar we got at the local specialty pet food store. I knew we wanted durable, and if reflective that would be a bonus. The young lady is about 90 pounds and still growing.

Although it looks like the collar may work similar to a choke-style, it is not. It does not tighten when the dog pulls on it. We had a AST before that could not use normal collars (such as this) and would slip out of them every time. If you have a dog with a similar shape, then I do not recommend anything less than a collar that tightens if the dog pulls on it. —That means, if your dog's neck is bigger than the head, or "cone-shaped", then you need a different collar that will allow for the tightening. There are very nice (and humane) collars available on the market for these types of dog-shapes.

Additionally, I would highly recommend to those who are getting this collar to take their dogs on excursions in the dark, you would be much better off investing in a safety vest for your beloved dog, not a mere collar. A motorist would be hard-pressed to see any reflective collar if you allow your dog...
