Xavier Gibson: I wanted a bag smaller than a backpack, but better than the drawstring bags you might get for free from a business. This works fine for that but the straps are impossible to untwist. I would rather have a string so they wouldn't twist, even if strings are uncomfortable with heavy items. I do like the smaller pockets inside and the front pocket for smaller items.

katie: My son's school recently said no to big backpacks and to only use drawstring ones. We found this one and he loves it! It has three open pockets and a zipper pocket inside along with two outside. Feels like its made our of great material. I will be buying two more for my girls to use for traveling

Erica Cathey: So the reason I give this one five stars is we have bought book bags over the last year, and my son has went through them with buttons coming off straps, breaking in our school has went to that they have to have a string book bag no full size book bag. This book bag is a great size for a child. That Hass to carry a lot granted. Yes we would love it bigger but it works. One suggestion I would say is that we have taken the straps that you use for a seatbelt and we have to use those on the straps to give extra comfort.

Hunt: I bought this bag to act as my personal bag and beach bag on a Caribbean cruise I took this past spring and it did not disappoint. It is stylish, waterproof, has a zipper compartment on the outside and the inside. Also, a pocket inside. It was big enough, but not too big. Straps were comfortable. I bought the blue one. It is beautiful and the quality is great, the price was great! I highly recommend it. I will going on another cruise soon and will be taking this bag with me again. As a matter of fact, its durable design will allow me to use it year after year.

Dora of the Sea: Great product! The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the straps were very slippy when the bag was empty. I took it to get a few groceries, and once the bag was full, there was no more slipping. I’m 5’4 and curvy. I think a smaller person would have more trouble with the straps, especially if you have narrow shoulders. The bag itself is great quality, no bad smells, and provides easy access. I would definitely purchase again.

just my honest opinions: This is a cute little bag. I got it because I sometimes like to have a light-weight drawstring backpack-style bag that I don’t care too much about for when I go out on outings where I want to be hands-free (i.e., don’t want to have to lug around a purse). I can drop my wallet, some tissues, some hand sanitizer, sunglasses, sunscreen and a bottle of water in there and not have to worry about straining my back with a too-heavy backpack.

It’s such a small investment for a piece that I know I’ll get a lot of use out of! What I especially like about this little bag is the additional zippered pockets you get - one in the front, one hidden one on the side, and another on the inside. That’s important to me. With a drawstring bag, I like to know that my more important items won’t get lost so easily and are easily accessible! (I’m always so paranoid about things falling out when the top is not totally secured with a zipper, so the zippered pockets are awesome!)

The only concern I have is with the wider, flat ribbon-like straps. Not sure how comfortable they’ll be yet (as I haven’t spent a day wearing this backpack yet)...and I feel like they can flip/twist...
