Skye: I installed and loaded the carrier the middle of December 2022. My plans to go elsewhere fell through but I didn't unpack the carrier until today, June 10 2023. Everything is in perfect condition. There were no leaks, no dust inside or anything that could damage my things. I'm very impressed and super happy with this company.

Zach Stutz: This bag freed up so much room for our camp trips. 6 sleeping bags, 6 sleeping pads, 6 camp chairs and room to spare. The tie down straps have a clip on them. It worked perfectly on my existing cross bars, but if the one provided doesn't work, the anchor point will take any 1" strap with your preference of connection on the other end. Well worth the money. It didn't rain on this trip but I expect everything to stay dry in there. I'll update if it doesn't lol

JClark: We bought this material rooftop cargo carrier over the hard case carrier, as we don't have storage space for a large hard case one. This did not disappoint! Not only did it fit way more than we first thought, but it was weather resistant, held up great on an 8-hour journey, and maintained the quality once put away. Only good things to say about this product. I would definitely purchase more in the future if need be. Just remember that it's on your roof if you enter a garage (items in the carrier can bulk it up higher than expected).

michelle: This definitely helped and gave us more room in the vehicle. Unfortunately it didn't quite hook on to the door frame for our model car but we made it work. I'm going to use it again but on a different car. I do like the product design and would recommend.

L. Blanchard: This is a well designed and constructed item; good strong materials and well made (in the USA!). By its very nature it's a bit awkward to deploy/use, but it does what it's designed to do very well.

Evan: We used this for driving home for the holidays from MO to SC and it did exactly what we needed it to do. We didn't want to spend the money on a roof rack that we may use only once, so this was a great option! It kept all our items dry. The holes in the zipper are wide enough to leave a lock in to keep your items secure overnight.

The only issue we had with this is that the straps that hook into your weather seal will prevent your door from sealing shut. So the wind from driving down the interstate will blast into the openings and is VERY loud. Additionally if it rains, water will leak through the same openings into your vehicle.

Other than that, this was perfect for what we needed.

vancouvergoalievancouvergoalie: LIKES: (1) it does what it purports to do - ie. fit alot of camping gear, clothes, etc in a protective shell. It's a soft shell so (2) no "installation" per se. Just slap it on top of your vehicle, strap it down, and drive off. (3) yes, it's weather resistant. It rains alot on the West Coast and I had some rain during my camping trip - no moisture issue. (4) easy to put away after use. After camping season, fold it and stuff away in your garage (if you have one) until next year. A hardshell requires some space to tuck away.

NOT SO LIKES: (a) I don't trust the straps won't break over long distance/times, which is why you see in my pic that I tied it down further. I recommend getting a couple of lockstraps to tie down to the crossbars; both vertically and horizontally so to better keep the shell in place. (b) there are no locks but conceivably you could get some zip ties to lock the zipper ends together. I admit I was a bit nervous leaving this out in front of my house overnight but we were leaving early morning so couldn't put it up then. In the end, nothing was stolen. JS: I did a lot of research on the many different roof top bags available on Amazon, and settled on this one for its good reviews and fair price. I was uncertain at first if this bag would technically work with our car, as some product reviews and even direct answers from the seller in the Customer Questions indicate that it would not work with an Odyssey with no roof rack. To make sure though, I called the company directly, and the person I talked to at Rightline assured me the bag would work fine for our car. I also found a youtube video of an owner of a Honda Odyssey just like ours who bought and used this bag with good success. After seeing that video, I decided to buy it. We used it last week for a 1,000 mile round trip beach vacation - we needed extra space because we were dropping my son off at college on the way back. The bag itself is very thick, tough material. The zippers are a little tough to work at first, but I was fine with it with the understanding that probably made them more weatherproof. We did not use any kind of pad underneath, and honestly, I don't know why you would need one, as the bag secures very well to the roof after tightening the straps and the underside...
