Hailey Abbey: I love how large this box is. There is plenty of room for my cats to turn around. The high walls are a necessity for my cats, as one of them likes to spray. Took one star off because litter/excrements can get stuck and are hard to move under the step and because the included scoop is too tiny to use. Although, the scoop is a great size to quickly help your cat cover up any uncovered mess before you scoop the box.

Noelle goodrich: I’m a mom to 5 cats and 3 fosters and have my fair share of litter boxes over the years. I have a rather big litter box storage and it’s hard to find the just right litter box for it. Love how long this one is and the side entrance. Litter still gets out but not quite as bad. I do clean out the litter boxes every night and it does get some in the corners but not any different then any other litter box. Not really sure about the little step as it pops up every so often. But over all this has been a great litter box. Little pricey but it was worth every penny!!

Amazon Customer: I have two cats. One has litter box issues -- if it's not perfectly clean and spacious he would rather go on the floor. The other cat loves to play in litter, and is very good at burying his waste. This is great for both of them, as well as me. It gives one cat room to play, fling, scoop, and bury as much as he wants, and the high walls keep the litter from getting into the corners of the room. It also prevents tracking -- there is only one spot the cat can exit, so even if they hop over the stairs, they have to land on the litter mat, and the force of the jump gets everything off their feet and onto the mat. It is almost as good at preventing tracking as a litter box with a lid, but they actually like using this one. It's also very big, which is great because my cats are hogs. Plus it's pink, which I like. I'm going to replace all my litter boxes with this one.

Hiromi: I've tried many different types and sizes but this one is great!! My two cats climb onto the step before getting in, the high walls keep spills from happening. Highly recommend!!

Elizabeth: I got this for my 12 year old cat, sassy. Sometimes she starts squatting, and slowly rises to a stand mid stream. Sometimes she doesn’t bother to squat to begin with. She’s kinda messy. This box is taller than she is, so it keeps everything in when she uses it. It is also much bigger than her last box; overall it’s a wonderful upgrade! Not much harder to clean than a regular one, so pretty easy. Still recommend a litter collector/catcher mat outside the box, especially if your cat likes to run or jump out like sassy does. Only critique is the little step inside the box, because she managed to pee on it and it’s a little challenging to clean cat pee out of the little holes. I took mine out to make things easier. The scooper it comes with is also incredibly small, so I’d recommend having a bigger one bought separately. Both critiques are minimal and easily fixable for the buyer to handle themself. Overall, worth more than its weight in gold, and a very good purchase!!

Jessica Valler: I specifically bought this litter pan for the indent at the front under the entry stair. It works almost like a handle. It makes it incredibly easy to pick the pan up. And then the shape and high walls of the pan allow me to hold that handle and pour out all the litter in one swift easy motion that doesn't hurt my back.

No one's paying me to say this, it's just that after I found this system a year ago, after over a decade of having cats and having changing the litter be the bane of my existence, I feel a need to tell someone the thing I found that works for me. And that's very specifically the combination of this litter pan and the Sift Ease litter sifter.

I'd used the litter sifter before when helping a friend, but always ran into the problem of lifting her litter pan and pouring the litter being kind of cumbersome. I'm clumsy, and any litter pan tall enough to actually protect from spraying tended to also be unwieldly. I'd either kind of hurt my back doing it and also have to get closer to the litter than I'd like, or I'd make a big mess (and then have to get closer to clean it up).

B.: My boy has a tendency to pee against the litter box wall, but his aim isn’t great. This box has completely solved that problem! The scooper is a little small, I had to get another one, but other than that it’s worth the $$.

Tracy: I bought this litter box for my male cat Domino who occasionally pees over the top of the box. My female cat Daisy took to it right away but Domino, no. Instead of the box, he started going on the floor, directly in front of it. So, unfortunately for me, I cannot use it as a litter box.

So instead, because I'm not returning it, I have been using it as a foot soaker and it works great. It's deep enough to submerge my feet and the little step helps by removing excess water from getting on the floor.

As a litter box, for the week I used it, I found it very easy to clean. Yes, my cat did use the areas around the stairs first (cats like corners!) and that part needed extra cleaning but it wasn't difficult. Also, there was less litter tracked on our bathroom floor where we had it. It was easy to assemble and came exactly as the photo.
