Catit Jumbo Litter Tray with Hood for Cats

raz: Ive been looking for a large cat litter for a while for my two cats as two is more smelly than one aswell as one of my cats are very big built and out grew his regular petsathome cat litter. I stumbled across this and reviews were very good so I took the risk, and i couldn’t be more happier with it. It has four locks on the side so the lid wont pop off, theres a little hatch to lift to make it easier to clean when on the go and comes with its own filter to conceal the smell. If you have Big cats this is it!! My cats can use the toilet comfortably and privately without sticking their head out the door!

Connor: Excellent if your cat likes to fling litter or other stuff 💩 out the litter box, massively reduced the amount of litter on the floor.

It would have been nice if there's was a wider option as it does seem a little cramped when my cat goes in but he is a big cat so it might just be a him issue.

Colours are nice and don't stick out like a sore thumb.

Decent value for money alot better than open top litterbox.

The privacy flap can be removed which we did as our cat isn't the brightest and didn't realise you can get in and out 🤦‍♂️

Overall excellent litter box highly recommend!

Matt BMatt B: The media could not be loaded.  We've had this a week now. We bought it to replace a very old lidded similar one which only measured slightly smaller, but the curved sides and ends must've made a big difference as this is fairly huge in comparison!! The cat in the photo is nearly 3kg if that helps. Small younger cat. The huge 5.5kg panther cat we have fits in there nicely where he wasn't too impressed with our old one.

You can clean it out without taking the whole top off, which is good. See photo & video. The door part lifts up easily.

The door does stick when it swings if it is clicked down fully, as others have said, but this is easily solved by not pushing the top down fully (see photo) which then allows the door to swing. I was initially using the bit of card to hold it up whilst the cats got used to it but now it just sits down without clipping and it swings fine. See video.

The other negative is that the clips to undo the top half are stiff and take a bit of practise to get used to, but like I say, you can lift the door fully to clean out so only needs unclipping for weekly deep clean.

It holds around 8 ltrs of litter nicely. It IS...

Anika J: I will try my best to upload a picture with it later to show the difference between what I thought I was ordering and what I got. To start off ill say that I previously received this litter box as a gift about four years ago. it has done the job amazingly and has proven to also be one of the largest hooded litter boxes I have ever seen in person or online. I looked for a larger box and couldn't find anything close to this brand's size so naturally I stuck with it. I ordered the Catit Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Pan, Warm Gray which is the exact same color and model of my last box, however this box came white and with a completely different filter than the last one. It is made by the same company and is the same size just a different color scheme and a newer filter model which led me to assume they had just updated their boxes but after going back to see what I had ordered and what they had pictured I've come to realize I was probably just sent the wrong model. I am just as satisfied with the white model I received and it functions great but I would definitely have preferred to have known EXACTLY what I was ordering as I was trying super hard to have them match and they clearly don't.....

Gaëlle: J'ai passé des heures sur amazon en comparant beaucoup de litièrd et bien sûr les prix.
J'avais un critère: les fuites .. et oui ma dernière litière qui été avec un tiroir en effet c'est pratique au nettoyant mais malheureusement les fuites sont possibles..
J'ai donc opté pour une litière avec un bac plus haut et un système anti fuite qui est bien décrit dans le descriptif de vente ; Ce produit en plus de ne pas être cher et vraiment top. Bac spacieux et profond. pour ma sacré de Birmanie c'est parfait . la porte est facile à démonter! quand on voit le prix de certaines litières celle ci est pas cher et bien imaginer !
Le seul petit bémol que je relève c'est qu'il n'y a pas de pelle et pas d'endroit pour en ranger une ..
Je recommande ce produit !

MorganMorgan: The sellers should really be getting their act together. I ordered 2 of these jumbos, one was packaged properly, the top part was inverted and nested in the sturdier bottom part, which also saves space needed and protects the more delicate plastic of the upper half. The second jumbo was already assembled and packaged that way, for some reason. And it was cracked, I assume because the more brittle upper half was not nested and protected by the bottom half. I just don't understand why you'd ever ship a product that way, it's meant to disassemble easily, it takes 2 seconds.

But, this is the first and only issue I've had with this type of Litter box. Previously, I had the "Large" size in grey. I own 3 cats, and occasionally foster kittens. I use Arm and Hammer Slide litter, unscented. I've had multiple people come to my home and not smell the "cat" smell. You know. it's not a straight up shit smell, but definitely a litter smell. We've all stepped into a home and smelled it. It usually passes within a few minutes. But, by using these Litterboxes, this doesn't happen.

My cats are from all walks of life and the kittens have no problem learning to use the doors. For a few...

BexBex: I read a lot of the other reviews for this box before purchasing & the consensus was that it was a good litter box despite some setbacks such as thinner material used than in previous years resulting in cracking, filter access issues (effortless open + smart cat = a lidless filter) & stuck doors. Solutions were to add something sturdy under the box to prevent cracking, taping down or covering the filter with a towel/ blanket & leaving the door up & open. However, as someone that received a litter box that's exterior was damaged & missing it's bottom half, I can say that for any issue with the box, you should ask for a return/ exchange.

I recieved the first box the same day I purchased it. Returned it two days later due to missing/ damaged items & had a new box the day after I asked for an exchange. And this one came in an Amazon box, unlike the first one which arrived completely uncovered. Seeing as today is the first full day of use, I don't have a lot to say but what I can tell you is that the lid locking feature is nice, the box is a whopping 10 inches deep (not including the added lid height) & my tidy cats jumbo litter bags barely reach the...
