Laura Tattersall: This book was listed as coming with a CD and DVD. Only the book was delivered so I’m very disappointed as my daughter’s teacher specifically requested that she have the CD/DVD.

Justanothercustomer: Easy to follow, clear & understandable in a progressive form that is ideal for anyone wishing to teach themselves.
DVD included goes through the basics which include proper posture, holding the instrument & bow, finger positions, bowing techniques, all things to get you started. It's a bit of a let-down though as it doesn't teach the lessons within the book giving a visual aid to learning.
CD included gives you a chance to hear what each lesson should sound like to let you know if you're playing correctly or not.
A good book, DVD could be better, CD helps alot.

C. Rice: What a great method for such a small price! I use this with my beginning students who are 10 years and up. It comes with a DVD and mp3 CD which use good, up to date technical tips. The Technique demonstrations help the students learn more independantly. They have fun with the mp3 accompaniments as well.
