Robin B: It seems fine. works well. comfortable. Not sure why they included 2 small ice packs when only 1 fits and only 1 large ice pack. If they included 2 of each you could have the second set cold for use in a couple of hours for severe pain. Instead of waiting 4 to 6 hours for the ice pack to chill all the way again. Other than that it is good.

Katherine Thompson: It’s a great device. It’s very snug however so if you have a large knee, as I do, I don’t walk around with it on. Also the ice packs are very cold. I plan to put a towel around my knee first today before wrapping it.

Laura C.: The only negative is that the ice packs do not stay cold for as long as I would like them to. It fits well, can be adjusted and is great for short-term icing.
I had a knee replacement and would prefer the ice pack stayed cool for about an hour.

Dave J.: Had knee surgery, and had to keep icing for several days afterward. The sleeves allow for other ice packs to be used, so you're not limited to just the Revix ones that come with it. And even when someone gave me a gift of a rather cumbersome ice pack that didn't fit inside, the empty sleeve was great for snugging this odd pack into place.

JvS: This is my second ice pack knee wrap I purchased off Amazon after my knee surgery. The first was great but this one is AMAZING! The ice pack that also goes behind the knee is such a lifesaver. I use it multiple times a day and the quality of the product is fabulous. Highly recommend.

Rachel: I've had pretty bad arthritis in my knee for quite a few years now, and this is the best icer I've had yet. The design and gel (or whatever's inside) allow for wrapping it right away out of the freezer (it's a bit for the first few minutes, but still wearable. It fits nicely comfortable on my knee without shifting when I have my leg up. I especially like the bit that wraps to the side of my knee as I do get swelling on one side. I can tighten the straps and wear it into the kitchen for something small like grabbing a cup off coffee, rather than taking it off, and having to wrap it round my knee again. I do find that I need 2 thin layers of towel/stocking/whatever-cloth between the ice and my skin when first out of the freezer -- the cover on the inside is very thin, and the neoprene on the outside keep the cold in. It works great for 20 minutes on/40 minutes off (most of that in the freezer) all day long. The straps are nicely designed that I can wrap the neoprene to the outside of the entire thin part, wrap a kitchen towel around it, and bring it with me somewhere -- until I put it on my warm knee, it stays good and cold for a few hours. When on my knee, I only use 2 of the gel...

IC: I’ve tried a few different types of “ice packs with straps” in the past (for carpel tunnel) and those were not that cold because the fabric was so thick. I got this because of a hematoma just above my kneecap and I needed something with compression as well as reaching above the knee. The inner fabric is thin enough for the ice pack to properly deliver cold to the body. The whole exterior is a really high quality fabric and this thing stays in place and does not slide. You can get really good compression with it. Sometimes you’re taking a gamble not knowing what to expect, so the quality of this is very impressive. I’d recommend it for any knee use, including for post sports. It’s comfy enough you can walk or sit with it and not mind it being there.

GPK: Had a knee replacement - got a lot of use, frustrating that seller will not sell extra ice packs! Told me to buy the whole thing again. Waste of money on my part and terrible for the environment to demand purchasing a useless extra piece.
The “stay cold time” was much shorter than some of the reviewers mentioned. I would say 1/2 hr at a time.
