Reusable Choice Gel Hot & Cold Therapy Packs

Forksandtrails: Love it and the fact that it comes with two ice packs instead of only one, because if you're like me you always forget to put it back in the freezer when you're done so it's always handy to have a backup ice bag.

I don't know where this thing has been all my life but I can say goodbye to having to futz with a separate wrap with my ice packs, as the wrap is built into the product.

Jill Carty Designs: I started physio a few days ago for a knee injury. I need to ice it three times a day for the next several weeks. I ordered this Rester's Choice product and am thrilled with the freedom it gives me. Allan Arseneault: Great buy! price is great for all you get. The strap is nice and wide the pouch is great to set your gel pack. Bought two sets one for me and my wife that have sore joints. Would recommend this set.

Pat P.: Had this before. After a lot of use, the old plastic bag of gel got a leak. The new bag is much sturdier, but still has the very useful pocket, wide stretch material, and velcro. Very good product.

MyRowdyDawg: This review is for, :"Rester's Choice Gel Cold & Hot Packs (2 Ice Packs) 5x9 in with 1 Adjustable Wrap." These ice packs remain soft and that makes them easier to use. They remain cold longer than others I've used. I especially like the long wide strap. It keeps the ice pack held in place where you need it. I would highly recommend.

dd: This product fits so easily in the freezer, doesn't clump up, lies flat so that it covers well. It doesn't give you frostbite because the material is so well made, and you don't need to wrap it in a towel. Two of them are perfect so that you can keep one in the freezer while using the other - always have one ready to go. And they last perfectly cold for hours. Truly a quality product. Just a small drawback - you have to put it in hot water for several minutes to heat it. It cannot be heated in the microwave. But I have things that I can heat up and didn't purchase this to heat. The pros of this product far outweigh that small drawback if you're looking for a hot/cold compress.

C. Schramke: Last month I broke my wrist. REALLY did a number on it. Of course, the prescription to manage it was RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevate.

I have lots of ice packs, but none that were really usable on my wrist, and putting ice cubes in a baggie, and trying to hold it with an elastic wrap is awkward and inevitably leaks.

This provided the perfect solution. 2 gel packs, which are easy to make fit around my wrist, even when frozen. So I can always have one in the freezer while one is in use. The Velcro pouch holds the gel pack securely, and the attached wrap is easy to use.

Now that I am post surgery, and doing physical therapy, my instructions are to use heat for 10 minutes before I do the exercises to relax the muscles and increase blood flow, and then ice afterward. Well, once again, 2 gel packs make this perfect. One to keep at room temp to heat up before, another to keep in the freezer for after.
