Jesse J.: The Walkies seem to be just fine. We use them within our church for our security team. Have tested the range indoors and no problems as of yet. The earpiece however, is straight garbage. Low quality, have to swallow the mouth piece to be heard (even with volume up on the walkies), and flimsy. The walkies were the main reason for the purchase, I knew it was too good to be true to have all of that for the price. However, Walkies are a great quality, good range, comes with belt clips, charger, and a lanyard. Wish they had a storage container or base, but we’ll find something.

JoeInmotion: So there’s small cons to these units like the audio quality isn’t great and it’s also not very loud so I can imagine it being difficult for outdoor events and maybe for security guards managing loud areas or something but for us we just use them in an office type environment with low noise levels so there’s actually perfect! Also the charging setup for 8 radios is a little cluttered but once we get a little extra cash I’ll get the charging station.

Jerilyn Brown: I bought these radios for my housekeeping staff and my maintenance so they could communicate throughout the day to update available rooms and maintenance issues. As long as they remember to plug them in at the end of the day the battery life is great. Otherwise they only last about 24 to 36 hours. I know, doesn't seem like a big deal but it's a drag to not be able to communicate with your housekeeper is halfway through the day. They need to be plugged in every night. As long as they're not speaking too close to the microphone the audio quality it's clear. I run a 117 room Motel that consists of four separate buildings and I can hear my housekeepers from the far end clearly. Pretty decent radios for the price and the quantity. Would recommend for any location were the GM or front desk or supervisor needs to be in constant contact with crew or staff. Background noise does affect the quality of transmission and don't speak too close to the microphone or the audio distorts. Plan to purchase more for additional employees.

james sowell: I use these radios for crane and rigging. Very clear with extremely good range in the chemical plant where I work. Roughly 1 mile range is what I have tested. Clear as long as you don't cover the mic hole or have your hand in the way. Durable for falls. However I dislike they have a fixed belt clip instead of spring loaded, I have to clip to the pads on my harness. My last retevis radios lasted me 3 years and need more due to breaking then from high falls or rain and corrosion.
