shawna: I was extremely hesitant when deciding to try this hair dye because I had heard how terrible the smell is, but I went ahead with it anyway. I have to admit, it's not nearly as awful as people claim it to be. It's not exactly pleasant, but it won't make you gag either. The application is incredibly easy, as is the mixing of the product, and they even provide you with a brush applicator and gloves. The whole process takes just 30 minutes, and the results are fantastic. The color is vibrant and gives a natural effect, and my hair feels much silkier and fuller, which is not something you typically get with other box dyes. It's a wonderful product that not only allows you to dye your hair but also benefits it. Win !

User JW: This is the second henna dye I’ve used. It worked well and was quick and easy to mix. If you have long hair, you might need more than one box. The smell isn’t as bad as the other henna and it bleeds a lot less and for shorter time. The smell disappears quickly, too. It’s a good product and I will use it again.

Amazon Customer: I have been using Naturtint for several years and recently decided to try Reshma Henna given the more natural henna product. Much superior longevity, no scalp tingling. Much easier to use by simply adding water and not some strange "developer" liquid. Unused powder can be easily put away and used as needed. My wife and I share one box each time. I was skeptical and concerned that I would end up with red hair as typical with henna (I use the brown/black color). The color is exactly as advertised and stays that way as it fades. No strange hues, just good old grey hair returns as it fades. Comforting to know it is a natural henna product and no harsh chemicals. Scalp feels great. Not to mention it is a great price.

NostromoNostromo: I don’t understand how is it possible to describe this product as Organic henna ?! After reading Real ingredients I noticed that one of the most important and Harmful wasn’t even mention in ingredients on the Amazon website and I am talking about Sodium Metabisulfite . They mentioned Sodium Sulfate which is totally different chemical . Sodium sulphate is an inorganic compound having the chemical formula Na2SO4. It has several hydrated forms as well. Sodium metabisulfite must be clearly labeled on the food packaging because some people are sensitive to sulfites ! It was showed on the box but not on the website . Seeing this on the box I decided not to open it and send it back to Amazon . If I would see it on the website I wouldn’t even buy it . I changed chemical dye on Henna years ago cuz I wanted relief my hair from chemicals and I am not going back to it . Is Sodium Metabisulfite bad for your hair ?

MelanieMelanie: I had used a henna product when I was much younger , and just a couple of times. I watched several YouTube tutorials because I had forgotten how to do it . I am very glad I did. I am 50 precent grey . Very salt and pepper . I have a couple of medical conditions that , over the past couple of years , have prompted me to get away from boxed hair dyes that contain too many harsh chemicals . I have tried many semi and demi permanent hair dyes in that time, but as I am so grey , they are not semi or demi permanent at all. I'd have to use them almost daily to keep the color in my very stubborn grey hair . So I decided to try Henna . I usually go with a very dark purple. . . my favorite color . I mixed the henna and oh Lord , the smell was far less than desirable . Pee eww! So I mixed an essential oil in it to mask the smell . I am really glad I did. Made a huge difference .
The box said to leave the colorent on for 30-40 minutes . But my experience with grey hair told me to leave it on longer ( So did a couple of YouTube videos ) I mixed it till it was a gravy consistency , and I started at the roots in the front of my hair part by part , bit by bit to ensure all those pesky grey...
