Jimmy Billy: Being a recently adopted by a cat we were looking for a way to keep him off the counter, generally this works and he stays off the counter even when it is not turned on, however when it is on, sometimes he can sneak by it, but it always gets me, so now I stay off the counter too.

snoleprdx2: No more cat on the counter at night! Woo-hoo! Cats are smart, they know they're not allowed on the counter and won't go there during the day when you can yell at them, throw a dish towel at them or squirt them with a water bottle. But at night - all bets are off. I don't get it, there is NOTHING up there to attract them! But in the morning, there are little cat footprints on my glass-top stove to tell the tale, they have been up there investigating! Well, we set this little cat trap at night and in the morning - the second morning, that is, lol - no more kitty cat paw prints. It took over a week of being faithful, but the cat finally learned to stay down. This product works!

mkrpa: I've seen a couple videos of cats who were amused by this, but it did the trick with ours. She found a spot by our front door that she would repeatedly spray/mark. After this shot her a half dozen times, she quit. We got sprayed as much if not more than the cat did. Never used the whole can. Eventually just the sight of it (or any aerosol can for that matter) was enough to make kitty turn around and leave the area. It didn't always spray when we thought it should, so motion detection wasn't 100% reliable, and we thought it was a little pricey for just compressed air, especially when buying the sensor top with it. But no complaints; it worked.
