Leonardo de Stella: These work well when they are set up and definitely deter our cat from getting on the counters when they are in use. The downside is that they are expensive and run out fairly quickly if you keep them on all of the time.

Mark Software Dev: In order to make a profit they put a limited amount of air in each one so it leads to a lot of pollution to accomplish its goal. It does work extremely well. The cat very seldom gets on a kitchen counter now and only when there's something so tempting. But she's quite worried because she knows something like this might happen when she jumps up there. It just makes a hissing sound with wind and freaks her out so she jumps down. It's much more effective than the other products I've bought mainly because it doesn't take much room. And I have to admit it's very funny when it catches me in the middle of the night. I go to get a glass of water and the damn thing sprays me and I cuss. I'm wondering if the cat is laughing.

pagan43: The cats are effectively kept from the countertops. But it discharges when anyone walks past it. Not just the cats.
And at $14+ per can, for just air, it has a very low value in my book.

24Sevyn: It seems so silly to pay so much for a can of air but I will do almost anything to keep my cats off of my counter. After having purchased the bigger cans I was disappointed with how quickly these smaller ones were discharged. I watched a youtube video where a guy filled them using a bicycle pump. I plan to try this. Or maybe just buy one of those computer duster cans. It's all the same to me. Maybe I will put the motion detector lid on a can of air freshener. lol

Amazon Customer: I have my furniture placed against the wall, but there is a pathway behind the furniture that I am unable to block off and the cats were scratching on the back of the furniture. I placed the scat and there is no more scratching on the furniture!!

VS: I bought these for the first time a few years ago (possibly from a different seller), and they did use to last for a while! These cans, however, only last a few sprays, certainly NOT a hundred. I had to replace them every 3-4 days! My cats are not that crazy. Defective product.
