Replenish Your Cat's Litter Box with Amazon Basics Cat Pad Refills

Valentina Salazar: I use these for my Purina Tidy Breeze Litter Pellets Litter box. This is a great value as the Breeze pads are like 2-3 times the price of these (don't quote me on that, I haven't actually done the math).
They are thinner than the original pads, but I prefer that because I rather change pads more often without wasting the majority of a pad.
There was some leakage in the beginning, but I just make sure I have 2 in every litter box - one to actually absorb the liquid and another below to catch anything that might spill over. Surprisingly, since I've started doing that, there hasn't been any leakage.
When it comes to scent, I am not sure whether it works or not because I use additional deodorizers.

Rachelle: I love these pads. They are much more affordable than the name brand. They do recommend to change every 3-4 days. I typically change every 2 days for my one cat. The name brand ones state they can be changed every 7 days, but i wanted to change them more often. So to me the Amazon brand is more cost effective. They fit perfect with my litter box. Will continue to buy.

Agne M Sp: We have breeze litter system for our 3 cats, and it resolved many problems for me, no need to clean the litter every day and it eliminates the smell. These are great alternative to original brand pads which are really expensive.

Az: We've been using these for a little while now, and they seem to be just about as good as the Breeze pads. Maybe not quite as absorbent, but they do the job, and we don't have an obvious cat urine odor as we have with some other third-party pads for the Breeze litterbox. They're essentially the same basic thing, and do the job well enough that there's no complaints - especially from our furbabies.

S. Marshall: They fit perfectly in the Breeze. The pads are not as thick as the originals and to put your nose to them, there is no scent vs the original pads. They do hold alot of liquid tho. Insight, I have 8 cats, 1 XL breeze system, 1 regular size breeze system and 2 DIY litter boxes that work like the breeze. The key to the breeze systems is to make sure your pellets cover the drain vents, ALL of them, (if they aren't, you WILL smell the urine) that is what prevents the majority of the urine smell, even my DIY ones which I use pine pellets in those 2 only, and place the pad under the elevated top box. I change pads every 2-3 days in the two breeze systems and about once a week in the 2 DIY ones (pine pellets don't let the liquid run straight thru as the breeze pellets do, hence the once a week pad change in them). I am changing pads with these just as I did with the original pads, absolutely no urine smell in my home, if there was, believe me my mother would be the first to tell me when she stops by 🤣🤦‍♀️
As for the #2, scoop when they go because the pellets, breeze, pine or otherwise don't cover that scent, they aren't the clay or clumping litter that's made to surround...

LQLQ: This is a good Alternative for the price compared to the Brand names pads for a specific cat litter system. They are the best I’ve found so far but do not compete against the brand name.

Odor Control - I would probably say I have a sensitive nose. So after two days I have to change these mats. Where as the rand name can usually for 4 or 5 days with single cat

Absorbency - The car urine soaks in but not as deep so I assume that impacts the odor control. You can tell by color on this mat after one day vs brand name.

Design - Again close but not better than the brand name. Pad does not absorb as well but never pools or spills. Liner plastic is thinner so along edges they fold over causing more splatter on my litter system tray compared to original where almost nothing splatters.

Value: Depends. Due to price if you can stretch two to three days this is well worth it. However if changing daily in litter system a 10 pack of brand name is going to be a better choice based on performance. It’s not bad just understand differences.
