JenfarrJenfarr: We recently bought a condo with through-the-wall GE AC, but could not find the remote. It is old, not even sure of the model number, but it looked like the models where this remote would work. Put in the 2 AAA batteries and pressed power and it started right up, no problem.

J. Melucci: I purchased the "HA-G-01", which I knew was the one I needed. The seller was Home Appliances Service Store. Their description actually warns you to make sure you order the correct one as there are two models that are very similar. They actually sent me both models. Wow, crazy, but it turns out I did order the one I needed and it works so much better that the remote that came with the air conditioner. The original remote has buttons that are so hard to press. With this one, I actually stood facing away from the A/C and pressed the power button and the A/C went off. This is worth the price.
